it's fine I think, nowhere near as good as the Boros one, but fine, with a few cards i definitely want to scavenge for other decks. Unless I am missing something spicy, are the reprints really lacking compared to the other one? I was going fast on my break, but I didn't see anything most expensive than Blasphemous Act I don't think?

I love Octavia soooo much, the art is great, the abilities are fun, and they're an Elemental Octopus! Plus, there are 8 8's on the card, the last one is tucked into the set count of 081. If the Ward reminder text was on the card, that'd feel more legit, but I'll take it.
Meh, prismari were a big letdown in the standard set and the commander deck kinda is too.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

Actually the 8th one is in form of texto
1st: 8 un mana value
2nd and 3rd: cost 8 less, requires 8 or more instants and sorcs un grave
4th: Ward 8
5th and 6th: 8/8 tomen
7th and 8th: power/toughness
U/R spellslinger is already powerful, so it is nice seeing that shell introducing some neat effects like the Refrains and generically powerful ones like Surge to Victory and Radiant Performer. Red really has come into it's own in Commander formats, I'm remiss to construct a list without access to it these days.
Veyran: Alright another one of these we got ETB (anything), death and landfall next up is cast/copy instant and sorcires I just love these, I want a cast anything trigger.
Octavia: ok name one person that will target that also nice magecraft by turning them into a Kraken, speaking of which yo Tiro of Meletis new toy!
Demonstrate's an interesting keyword. It's like the Chains from Onslaught I think right?

There's already talk in the competitive community about magecraft + Chain of Smog breaking the game, hence my theory that Chain of Smog may soon be functionally errata'd to be in line with the demonstrate text.

But Muse Vortex is interesting. Not a bad way to refill your hand at all.
Shame that the reprint value is in such stark contrast to the Lorehold deck.

Rionya: the first card that comes to mind Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer
Dazzling Sphinx: reminds me of Lord of the Void but in the form of Instants/sorcery and persuade cascade
Inspiring refrain: oh this is sweet once you cast it for almost the rest of the game you can draw 2 every 3 turns and I love suspend cards
sly instigator: that's cool you could help an opponent with a blightsteel colossus/Phage the Untouchable but no fear of going horribly wrong due to Goading it.
Creative Technique: is anybody ever gonna demonstrate with it? It's way too risky letting an opponent hit something too.
fiery encore: well that's a finisher you just keep discarding nonlands till there dead with that type of storm count
Radiant preformer: ....hahahahaha this is another one of the magus's not named a magus this one is magus of the Radiate
rousing reframe oh another one! this time its R mana from hand size (other is Inspiring refrain)
Surge to victory: oooh that's nuts it triggers per creature not "one or more" imagen getting through with a Rishkar's Expertise or demonic tutor or Vindicate with this.
Reinterpret: this one my favorite it's not restricted to instants and sorceries and it's basically a cheaper and better Counterlash
Elementalist Palette: i think Zaxara, the Exemplary players are going nuts for this.

Anyone with Boseiju, Who Shelters All, Taigam, Ojutai Master, Overmaster, Demonfire (or more likely Banefire), Vexing Shusher, etc. Probably.
There's a few others in red that'll do the trick with damage doubling effects, and Altered Ego dodges the target clause altogether.
