While quite situational, Infuse with Vitality can be quite a swing. Creature removal, pseudo-indestructible, and a bit of lifegain tacked on which might trigger all kinds of things.
I wonder if those creature types will be featured in some way in Forgotten Realms or even Modern Horizons II.
The Search For Blex makes me think of an old(er) card that did something similar. Actually you know what, I know what this reminds me of: it's a sorcery version of Sylvan Library
There you have it.

Moonlight Bargain. Terrific card for my first commander back in the day, The Mimeoplasm. Has it really been 10 years already?
One mana cheaper but one extra life per card. But it's also a sorcery, so overall worse. Pretty sure Black generally has the market cornered on "draw card for life" so not surprised by this.

Ah there you go. See I knew it was something like that and/or the Sylvan Library.

In commander it’s a tad worse, though you still have the other side for some flexibility or build-around potential. In standard, being just one mana cheaper could make a huge difference if ‘spells matter’ becomes a viable archetype in those colors, especially if there are cards you want in the ‘yard.
MDFC cards are only the top face while in non-battlefield / command zones, correct? Black has a lot of dirt cheap return-creature-from-graveyard-to-hand effects, making it pretty easy to cast this repeatedly and dodge the commander tax.
Swarmyard tribal (sorta) meets the draw 5 in black treatment. Oh, and another Supernatural Stamina variant, now with deathtouch and lifegain.

but really one of the more janky legends in edh but 99 in spider tribal with Ishkanah, Grafwidow

It would have been cool if he actually had a swarmyard-like ability instead of just buffing them.
