Unfortunately, it doesn't trigger to artifacts or enchantments, so it's not quite mass prowess, but it will usually work the same way in the decks that already overuse the mechanic.
Arcavios seems to have quite a wide variety of humanoids. I wonder if there's a lore reason for that.
Based on what we've seen from the story so far, it seems that 1.) knowledge of the multiverse is at least somewhat understood at Strixhaven and 2.) it's entirely possible that races from other planes have been traveling to Strixhaven through magical means.
Ok, between this guy and the girl with Super Prowess(tm) Lorehold Aggro sounds interesting, 4 of each, a few copies of the new guy that gives everybody double strike, all the cheap burn you can find, some protection spells, 'Cleave because of course and you're set for Bo1. Add Lightning Helix in Historic for more fun.

That would make sense. In universe it's been 60 some years since the Mending (so sayeth the Wiki, at least). Could mean Arcavios is somewhat recently recovered from whatever economic crisis resulted from all the planar portals suddenly not working anymore...
I noticed the many humanoid creature types as well. It's neat to see them in a setting that doesn't rely on tribal interactions mechanically all that much, only Dragons a token creature types so far as far as I can recall.
I think having five faculties to populate might have pushed them to go more diverse.
I also adore catfolk in designer clothes. Definitely a choice I didn't see coming but approve of whole-heartedly.

Heck, every day I wake up, I don't go out and kill people - and I'm rewarded by not having legions of enemies! Amazing how that works.
Although ninjas are experts of camouflage and concealment, they are actually horrible liars. This means that no matter where you are, you can shout out, “Are there any ninjas here?” and if there’s a ninja within earshot, he’ll be compelled to respond.
