Using this card, Planeswalkers with no plus loyalty abilities can actually get one or "speed up" Planeswalkers with only +1 loyalty abilities using a +2 ability instead.
Well the prophecy has been foretold that this is where kasmina was
but How the world is she simic from this
Leader of a shadowy cabal
Kasmina is the leader of an ancient, secret order of Planeswalkers, a shadowy cabal with mysterious aims. Her larger goals are unknown, but her recent obsession is recruitment. Her preferred method is to identify what she calls "embers", non-ignited Planeswalkers. She helps these mages to discover their potential, even if it means causing trauma to ignite their spark, and then indoctrinates them in the ways of her order. She is preparing for a looming conflict that dwarfs the War of the Spark.
Basicly she’s missing black in all levels, and for edh for the googolplex time in a row a forever staple for Atraxa, Praetors' Voice decks superfriend decks for this case
and one thing that static and ultimate ok... I smell the MDFC's are gonna be planeswalker one side and whatever on the other and Mystical Archive is handling the instant/sorcery part of the set.

Very much gets across the mentor flavor very well and +2 to scry 1 seems balanced enough since you'd also need to be playing other planeswalkers as well.

She's not motivated by a want for power or for a self serving reason. She kinda seems a lot like Kiroa only gathering planeswalkers instead of sea monsters.

well to point out why it’s perfect for super friends

Basicly she’s missing black in all levels,
What part of that description leads you to believe she is black?
A group of planeswalkers is gathering allies for a yet unknown threat. While most colors could feature here its sending out some major white vibes. With the other mentions. It could lean into the really dark side of white.
Obviously, by defining the threat it could easily shift the colors expected to be fighting it. However, with an ill-defined threat the obvious color to gather allies to confront it is white.
Seems okay. Unless you're specifically in Superfriends, she seems much worse than Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer. Mu was absurdly powerful if you got her down T3 but was much weaker in an estabilished board. Kasmina seems even worse but at least she can make a 1/1 Fractal right away which is... pretty terrible, honestly, but at least it could abuse +1/+1 counter synergies, though the 3/3 Fractal she makes if she survives a turn is nowhere near as good as Mu's 4/4 flier. Both Mu and Kasmina have the benefit of Ultimateing pretty fast, but Kasmina requires you to run big Instants/Sorceries to be good while Mu only requires you to run Islands.
If you can abuse her with other Planeswalkers she seems pretty neat - comboing her with Teferi, Master of Time for example seems hilarious - but considering how vulnerable she herself is, I'm not sold. She's a combo piece in one of the most vulnerable card types in the game so seems more like a zany build-around or a cool addition for Commander Superfriends decks rather than a real player in Constructed formats.
yep there was a guys theory she’s Basicly this eras urza and gathering for the phyrexians
Talking about downgrades...

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
This feels horrifically bad tbh, like they knew Simic mythics have been dunking on everything recently so gave it this dross.
If we're reverting back to pre-RNA Simic, whose playability outside of EDH relied heavily on bad tempo, +1/+1 counter synergies strictly worse than mono-white and ramping for a third color, then we might get less complaints. Keyword might, as the Simic players will feel like the downgrade in power is overkill.
Well, that's yet another GU planeswalker who does almost nothing that I want from one and yet another intriguing character who turned out to be probably a villain. Sigh. At least she's human, so they didn't also waste a new creature type on her (or, for that matter, representation).
I find the card weak. I don't think she is good on her own, especially in this color combo, with the support it has. She only has a place in superfriends, especially helpful with planeswalkers who have onlu minus abilities.
From a flavor perspective it makes sense for her to be blue green since she is focused on transformation magic. That is primary blue and secondary green/black. The fact that she is secretive(or whatever is called) with her hidden agenda and all, plus the indoctrination of new walkers etc(manipulation), could be a further affirmation of her having black in her as well, down the road.
in a vacuum this card is horrible.
she just adds bad abilities for your other walkers.
I think the only way of trying to use this is to build a stupid janky deck.
the whole idea would be adding stuff to increase the number of loyalty counters such as Oath of Gideon or Elspeth Conquers Death alongside walkers with a very large amount of initial loyalty like Huatli, the Sun's Heart or Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner so they can come in and ultimate right away to tutor up something stupid.....
I've been thinking something completely janky like Deploy the Gatewatch in a deck with a ton of walkers and try to chain multiples of those somehow.
Narset,Parter of Veils just found a new friend, also, this was supposed to be legal together with Broko, yay! More loyalty abilities for him, because why not?
Besides that, she can make the mono-U Teferi ultimate blazingly fast, so I'd keep an eye on her. I wouldn't like to drop her on T3 playing Simic as paying 3 for Scry 1 is pretty weak, but I can see her playing a very good supporting role for other PWs, most likely in Commander or Brawl.

Technically Strixhaven previews start in 3 days, but we're getting Kasmina now. Fear the 3-mana Simic planeswalker.

think about it with all the uncommon war walkers particular Narset, Parter of Veils and Ashiok, Dream Render
And also Teferi, Master of Time he would be one away from the ultimate in one rotation plus if atraxa was out when he was cast he reach it

Should just be a different walker that is specific "simic" inspired instead.
Also her art looks strange ... like what kind of hippy goth is this supposed to be ?

Elspeth and Jhoira rock my world.
The "Hippy Goths" as you mention are actually "Goth Biologists", and they are black/green. Kasmina is blue/green, and a math nerd.

RBLACK CLOUDS IN ISOLATIONR
RI AM RECLAIMER OF MY NAMER
RBORN IN FLAMESR
RI HAVE BEEN BLESSEDR
RMY FAMILY CREST IS A DEMON OF DEATHR
Yea but there’s a few walkers than can benefit from this in EDH to get to their ultimate faster
Especially the uncommon war walkers
honesntly this card now makes me speculate the MDFC are not instant/sorcery or whatever might be whatever and walker.
Karn planeswalker cards in general want her big fat token-making loyalty ability. Score.
