People doubted the veracity of vorinclex because it was very powerful too and in the end it was real, so I think it is very likely that Jin is real too.
Having Jin-Gitaxias makes me very suspicious. From what we have seen in Kaldheim Vorinclex planeswalked in a very particular way and only came back to life by pure chance. It makes sense for another preator to show up but don't think it would fit story wise, but again we are talking about wotc soo could very well be true.

Vorinclex was leaked in card form, most ppl actually belived in it, you can check the thread.
So... if that Jin is real, people are going to be having a bad time. This thing would make draw-go decks as cancerous as Vorinclex makes Superfriends decks.
I know! Look at all the Vorinclex Superfriends Decks dominating multiple formats!!!
wait not just edh?
So thats why he isn't shrinking in price and growing again.
I believe that was sarcastic. Vorinclex is in one popular standard deck as a one of. That deck is not a superfriends deck.
Also, one more issue: isn't a prefect a student? 'Cause based on the Wiki, Kasmina probably isn't.
Yeah, a prefect is a (high-profile) student. If the Harry Potter series is any indication, prefects are below Head Boy.
I'd love the portion of The Art of Magic: the Gathering - War of the Spark that, according to the Wiki, says that Kasmina is a cabal leader and a forcible recruiter, though.

well I was skeptical at first when I saw it but that was only because phyrexians can't plane travel
but That was until I remembered 3 things maros teasers of “the creature type wait is over” and “the posion counters” and the list added the original vorinclex

Looking back at that thread, there's some power level complaining, but it's mostly, "WTF, phyrexians?!?" In this case, we already anticipated phyrexians, the card is actually stupidly op and it comes with no pictures.
If this is true I’m surprised they opted to put Level Up in this set rather than in Forgotten Realms which, if you ask me, seems to fit in more there than in Strixhaven. But then again I guess the more “learned” a student becomes the stronger their magical position becomes?
(Unless they plan on putting level up on Forgotten Realms as well)

Sure, Jin could be printed at that power level, and could be in the set easy. I get Wizards trying to complete simic-banned-card tribal. But I have a problem with the last two cards. Pore over the scrolls sounds awfully similar to another card draw blue spell aptly named Pore over the pages. I seriously doubt that we’d see a new card with a name that similar. And the wizard legend throws me off guard, mostly because golems with keywords have been dealt with on human artificers. With the coloration being WU, now we have to assume that either A) all human creatures in this set are Wizards if they’re in the school; B) the school of WU or whatever it’ll be deals with artifacts and Wizards specifically, ignoring the recent printings of the artificer creature type; or C) this card was deemed too weak with the artificer typing so Wizards through the wizard typing on to make it stronger. And of course blue was the first to be leaked when the only thing we really know about this set is “wizard school,” therefore our first speculated leaks are blue wizards.
Other than the Jin which I know will be mythic, none of those other rare cards seem impressive. I just don't think the U walker is that good either. Returning creature to hand sorcery speed never seems worth or even good, it is also -4. If she had a sick ultimate I would care but she doesn't.
So far these are very disappointing spoilers.

Oath of the Gatewatch in a nutshell;
"Earth!" shouts Nissa
"Fire!" shouts Chandra
"Wind!" shouts Jace
"Water!" shouts Kiora
"Heart!" shouts Gideon
"Go Multiverse!" shouts everyone combined
"By your powers combined, I am Captain Multiverse!" shouts Captain Multiverse
If these are real, the card draw one seems a little weird. I imagine it'd use different wording, because its current syntax makes me think you could cast a sorcery on your opponent's turn with it.
Yeah, and? It’s far from the first time that cards have been designed to let us cast sorceries on an opponent’s turn.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

Its not a -4. its -3.
I find her awalker side Super good.
She can even be cast sooner for her backside too.
I see why people think Jin-Gitaxias is beyond what they would print, but mythic rare Praetors at cmc 7 are exactly the cards to see this kind of ability.
Also, as a personal preference, I hate level up as a mechanic and don't imagine it will come back because many others did not enjoy it either.
On the other hand, if it were ever to return, a school seems like a perfect setting.
I'm a bit confused by the lateral shift of the level-up causing the creature to become possibly/arguably worse.
I would not at all be surprised to see some ally-colored cards in the set. I have yet to see the source that says the set is enemy-colored. Some OP said it while quoting a source that didn't confirm it. Has there been any update on that? Do we know Lorehold is not white-blue?
It is unknown what colors they are, there is just a good chance of it being enemy colored houses due to the very "Black Green" sounding house named Witherbloom.
I suppose they could not do enemy colors only and split the colors evenly, similar to how they did Return to Ravnica and Gatecrash factions, being a hybrid. In this case, assuming our Witherbloom is Black/Green, we would have:
If this Gin is real. It will be becoming pretty boring pretty fast, I feel like every game with him will be cast Gin resolve free expropriate (or equivalent game ending spell in other formats since he gives protection to the spell on top of casting for free).
I like the choices of color combinations you’ve chosen creedmor. I think it would allow a diverse azorius and izzet could have wizards. Rakdos and golgari could have warlocks. And golgari and selesnya could be shaman.
Embrace the dark you call a home,
Gaze upon an empty, white throne
A legacy of lies,
A familiar disguise
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone
OP didn’t have the new wording ”mana value” in that 3UU draw spell, so this is probably fake. No way they would leave that info out if the leak was real.
So... if that Jin is real, people are going to be having a bad time. This thing would make draw-go decks as cancerous as Vorinclex makes Superfriends decks.

Actually a prefect can be either a student with some authority to discipline others OR a regional governor or magistrate.
noun
noun: prefect; plural noun: prefects
1.
BRITISH
in some schools, a senior student authorized to enforce discipline.
Similar:
monitor
praepostor
prepostor
2.
a chief officer, magistrate, or regional governor in certain countries.
"the prefect of police"
a senior magistrate or governor in the ancient Roman world.
"Avitus was prefect of Gaul from AD 439"
Thank you wizards now this leaker needs a dunce cap now these are now confirmed fake for 2 reasons
1. Looks like “converted mana cost” is being changed to “mana value” on cards from here on out none of the cards that have CMC worded wrong by default
2. There’s a azorius spell this is a enemy colored set Basicly its “dragons of tarkir” but enemy colored edition (actually funny enough each college owner is a elder dragon)
land bonus points Harry Potter is crossing over theorist lose the class's are literally regular subjects and nothing to do with wizardry nor potions
they are all based on regular subjects that we see in all every day schools/colleges around the world
boros is history
Izzet is art
orahov is literature
simic is math
Golgari is biology
And as for Jin-Gitaxas hiding place (if it’s him as the chosen phyrexian for this plane) is probably in the basement of the math building
speaking of which I knew it in a milisecond they wouldn't print a ability that lets you play Expropriate on a very very very low turn (on Jin)

There could still be ally colored cards, but yes, the miss on the change from CMC to mana value is pretty definitive.
Now that they've dropped the official announcement, these seem very fake. A UW legend when there's no UW college? Converted mana cost not being replaced by "mana value"?

If this is real, which I personally doubt it is. I'm not too horrifically worried about Jin in edh. Pretty sure he will get banned like Lutri on the day he's spoiled.

The new Oko or Uro perhaps?
the fact you can freebie any first spell this turn is what yells fake
i was more on the line of either drawing or Twinning Staff esque ability (the opponent con of copying would be countering copy spells)
