Graven Lore 3UU
Snow Instant R
Scry X, where X is the amount of snow mana used to cast this spell, then draw 3.
Svella, 1RG
Legendary Snow Creature - Troll Warrior
3, T: Create a colorless snow artifact token named Icy Manalith that has 'T: add one mana of any color'.
6RG, T: Look at the top four cards of your library. You may cast one without paying its mana cost. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.
Comparison time: Ugin's Insight or Graven Lore? Although I like the idea of the BFZ card I have to go with the KHM because, as if so often the case, instant speed. Sometimes you would be able to scry more with Insight but not on the opponent's end step.
Always enjoyed tokens based on actual cards, and those Snow Manaliths might actually do more than make snow mana, especially since snow payoffs this time around count snow permanents. Speaking of counting snow, what's the acceptable floor for Graven Lore's snow-dependent ability?

In limited I'll quite happily pay 3UU for a draw three instant with no other text so, 0 is the minimum there. In constructed (Historic) I currently play Commence The Endgame and Chrmister's insight. I'd quite happily replace either for scry 2 draw 3.

I'd say compare to Glimmer of Genius or even Behold the Multiverse found in this set. Ugin's Insight is a sorcery, this is already got an edge on that, but I don't think I'd really want to cast this with less than 3 snow mana, but at 4 or 5 it seems incredibly powerful.
Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)

Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Eh, I'd be surprised if it sees much constructed play. It's cool, but it takes three turns to get value from it. Complexity creep, maybe. Kinda weird to see a unique token at uncommon - same with Replicating Ring, which makes a functionally identical token with a different name.
I think Graven Lore could have been more like XUU to choose how many cards to draw and Scry Y equal to the amount of snow mana paid into it.
Yea anything.
As it is, its an incredible boring rare, much more an uncommon.
They love their 5+ mana draw 3 rares in blue in various variations, and they are basically all terrible, even in constructed and could/should all be uncommon.
Their rarity bingo with cards gets quite out of hand anyway.
In this time and age good removal becomes rare and random legendary creatures turn into uncommon ... its such a bizzaro rarity lotto.
I like the rare. Scry 5 draw 3 at instant speed is extremely powerful in the right shell.
I hate the troll. Rg has zero mana production issues, so making mana rocks is redundant. The play stuff for free is lackluster given the tap requirement and mana cost. It lends itself to dumping fatties but thats just more of the same.
Well I see we're giving preview cards to anyone now. I enjoy Arin and the Game Grumps, but it seems odd to give him these amazing preview cards when for the most part he only opens packs and has had three or four Magic related videos. I feel there are other Magic personalities that deserve these far more than he does, by miles.
As for the cards they are very good. I almost enjoy the mana rock creation more than the free cast from Svella, but that's me, and a scry 5/draw 3 is amazing at instant.
This guy seems much more like a Shaman or Druid than a Warrior...
The party mechanic - ruining creature types since 2020.

While true I can't say I find unboxing videos to be all that fun. At the very least The Professor makes it somewhat interesting with the booster box game and can give you some indication if buying a box can be worth it rather than the usual "watch me open 6 cases. OMGosh I opened 40 mythics and you can too" kind of thing.

Tbh unboxing channels often have more subscribers than gameplay channels. It struck me when I noticed Alpha Investments had way more subscribers than Mtggoldfish.
I like Arin, he's a very enthusiastic guy and I watch GameGrumps from time to time. I subscribed to his channel for a few weeks but when I understood he wouldn't play at all, just crack thousands of dollars worth of card every week, I unsuscribed. But I understand why he got a few spoilers, he's litterally promoting the whale's way of life x)

you can make the mana rocks for rainbow mana producing for 3 each time. WHICH DOESN'T SACRIFICE ON TAP FOR MANA TRIGGER BY THE WAY!
you can use them to trigger a mini Golos, Tireless Pilgrim trigger on the other ability
erm....well, actually, I guess you can cast the BFZ sorcery on your opponent's end step in the right build.
Did you ever want to make mana rocks every turn? They are snow permanents, after all.

Honestly my heart leaps every time I see snow anywhere in this set. I freaking just love it.

Same, I just don't see any reeeaaally good snow cards hehe. But I like them.
