Not sure if I should say strictly better, but it's cheaper and more final than Finishing Blow. Turns out not gaining life knocks this kind of removal down to common. No, that is not anyone we know about to be eaten.
So, a common is now (for the most part) better than a popular rare (Vraska's Contempt), as the 2 life gain doesn't make this any less than the rare version. Talk about the power creep, lol...
It's a higher rarity, but it's still a strictly better card, what with costing only single black, in addition to providing information on top of potential draw selection/graveyard value shenanigans.

Funny enough so many creatures cost LESS than this and provide instant value, so this is just not going to be great.
But at least it exiles, and its instant ... well, thats about it.
