I wonder how often the Saga's middle ability will be without two matching targets. It will probably usually switch nonbasic lands. I also wonder how often it will be worth it to exchange the Saga itself for an opponent's enchantment? You give the opponent a 6 life swing, but could steal an about-to-hit-3 ECD or a Shark Typhoon.
As an instant it could have been pretty decent Beast Within variation (especially with foretell added on).
I think you're underestimating how much of an upgrade Foretell gives this type of effect. This is a great choice to foretell early on, because your opponent probably doesn't have something worth turning into a 1/1 flyer yet, and then for the rest of the game you've got a 1 mana sorcery speed beast within hanging around, that gives them a much less relevant body on top of it.

If there is reasonable bounce for the enchantment, this could be a very very real card to control a board and steal all the good stuff.

yea but beast within can get anything this can only get artifacts and creatures
By the way maybe they should reprint due to vorinclex
but the big points for this over beast is this can take down indestructible stuff since it exiles rather than destroy
So Maro's teaser said we'd have a 2mana-of-each-color-to-activate card, and now it seems like we have this Path to World Tree as well - so lots of 5 color activation costs here... I guess snow lands at common as well as the Pathlands allow that?
I like Tyvar for elf tribal or ramp +1 is kinda "add B and put a +1+1 on a elf" his 0 is good too but i don't like the ultimate, it is good, has the potential to win after a wrath. Kinda hoped he would have a pseudo Gideon ability to become a creature.
Ravenform is really good removal for a common.
The saga is can be used with flicker for some fun, also on the seccond chapter you can trade it for another enchantmaent.
Green enchantment is ok, is part 1 of birth of meletis and if you can make wubrg it can be a better bom (for way more mana)
Ravenform kind of annoys me - another example of blue getting strong permanent removal (out of color pie!) with the justification of "transmutation is blue sweetie :)" but they still justify not giving white card draw draw because they have to find "a white way to do it." K.
Will I play it in blue commander decks that don't have access to other colors' artifact/creature removal? Probably.
I don't like the art on Tibalt in The Trickster-God's Heist. It's out of step with the style on the rest of the illustration. The artist shoulda simplified the character's design. Otherwise I like it.
OK why aren't players here more bothered by Raveform 's existance? Talk about color pie break wtf. Invalidating white once again.
Blue has at least 4 other creature removal (that leaves behind a 3/3 most of time), blue is also the color of artifact interaction (tapping and not untapping, steal, search, returning to hand, etc)... It is not too farfetched to see this in blue. It is still powerfull but not as powerfull and out of nowhere as Chaos Warp in red.
If Ravenform did anything to enchantments (no auras) planeswalkers then it would be really strange IMO. Black enchantment removal, and red interacting with enchatments are greater "color pie break" imo (even if black "can do anything paying a high price")
"we now need Remi to make a video where he sings (to the melody of the Village elves): "LA-NO-WAR Elves! Let's make them all LA-NO-WAR Elves!"
Side note: As far as I know, the [card] command usually spits out the newest version of a card unless you specify a certain version (I did not). And Elves of Deep Shadow was reprinted in Ravnica: City of Guilds. Yet here we see the immortal The Dark artwork!!!
The Planeswalker's Guide to Kaldheim has its first part, and the cards previewed there are discussed in this thread. This one is for somehow having stragglers in the Card Image Gallery on Day 2 of previews... unless someone else is getting these and Wizards actually leaked cards the day it was supposed to be previewed.
EDIT: Added Path to the World Tree and Tyvar Kell
Dunes of Zairo
SHANDALAR
Innistrad - The Darkest Night

The saga is a potentially sweet card, as you can "gift" them permanents that outright kill them, like the good old Lich

not so fast
We’re getting a golgari elf tribal legend
That saga could make for a fun deck alongside Hostage Taker and Dragonlord Silumgar.
