Uncommon scry draw that gives you back the mana you spent if your topend is the right tribe / changeling. (and it's ramp in that case) Seems reasonable.
Lorwyn had giants in white-red, but why were they white at that time? I don't remember but given that they don't like white having big creatures at common, moving giants from white into blue makes a lot of sense even before you consider the frost giant trope.
Will we see a tribal-oriented jeskai giant for commander?

I know that’s the mistake with making giants izzet now the giant tribal legend needs to be jeskai now
oh by the way she had some music files wizards gave her decoded to actually be images so we need those posted too
Well this card is ok, 2 mana scry 2 and draw a card (and can deal 2 damage), and can then help you casting a giant. Maybe Thryx, the Sudden Storm will see play with this.

If someone was wondering who the invaders were, they could be told, "They Might Be Giants."
Sorry I had to

OMG...now I am so sad that WOTC didn't just pay whatever the cost was to have them do a preview card. Unfortunately I don't think a single song they did had anything to do with giants, snow or planeswalkers fighting phyrexians, nor did they really have anything heavy or even light metal. But still. I lol'ed.
turn 1 it's a full card and 2 mana for scry 2, which is horrible.
turn 2, it gives back your card and maybe hits opponent in face for 2... which is still not amazing.
turn 3, gives back the mana invested for some ramping if you happen to have the correct card in hand.

Mirrodin is New Phyrexia. The song could totally take off.
So if you've a date in Mirrodin she'll be waiting in New Phyrexiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

I wouldn't count on it. Apparently Wizards has all but forgotten about this kind of stuff. Same with white (or Bant) Merfolk. The only thing they ever seem to remember from Lorwyn is that there were black elves.

Seems like it curves nicely into a turn 4 Inferno Titan or Frost Titan without much trouble. Just make sure you pack a Cavern of Souls to protect your investment!
Find it, show it (and shoot something), cast it. I like the story it tells, although the whole process is probably too easy to disrupt (especially the last stage) and takes too long to be really useful. Unless there is some way to get additional mileage from the first stages, which would be right inside UR slice of the pie.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
The "removal" so far looks atrociously bad in this set.
Having an eye out for something remotely decent.
It's a tribal set. Any removal is going to either be bad or just weird.
man, you're probably right and we're in for an awful limited experience....
a crapton of creature synergy and no good card on sight to get rid of that is certain to take us to a very "snowbally" limited environment.

Giant support in Limited is... okay I guess. More importantly, this is a story spotlight.

They judged and helped with mediation between "small folk" affairs (ie: Ancient Amphitheater , Arbiter of Knollridge )
