Lol they downgraded Daring Saboteur... it took really little time to understand how weak that card was as a rare. Poor Ixalan.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Eh, it's alright. If I'm playing Pirate Commander, I'd rather either play Admiral Beckett Brass, which doesn't requires attacking for a pump and has added utility (though it doesn't scales up in recastings, sure, but still), or the Malcolm / Breeches partner duo, since having two Commanders will make getting a bigger attack trigger easier if this is in the 99. The fact that this curves perfectly with both Malcom and Breeches makes me wonder if that was the intended use all along.

Many of the partners can serve as alternate commander to many of the two color legends and vice vera likely to make sure there was a way for drafters and sealed people to play whats in their card pool.

"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
Wrath Scott Vargas seems interesting but pirates aren't really that cool of a tribe, even with this set. Actually, this format is really not the one for tribal decks anymore. Feels really bad playing them.

Joining Captain Wrath's crew are reprints Daring Saboteur and Prosperous Pirates.
Something along the lines of "To be a successful cutthroat you have to enjoy your own work".

Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)
The 1/1 goblin, however, has an immediate home in my Grenzo, Havoc Raiser deck.
