Ghen is pretty cool. Goblin Welder effects are always prone to abuse, are always fun to build around and are never TOO opressive due to the setup required. There's a reason Daretti, Scrap Savant is one of the 3 most popular mono-Red Commanders.
Ghen is definitely weaker than Daretti on a vacuum, but also gets 2 colors to compensate, including B which is HUGE for setup potential, and can be untapped which leads itself to abuse more easily. There's also a novelty factor to reanimating Enchantments, as it's a somewhat uncommon effect to see. Overall, not a very original Commander, but I'm glad it exists.
Promise of Tomorrow is also great. Great protection for Creature decks, mass ETB/Dies triggers for Aristocrats. I'm also glad it doesn't exiles itself. Also Seb McKinnon art? Sign me up.
Yes, Promise of Tomorrow is not like Rest in Peace in the sense it's not a replacement effect, it is a trigger itself that will go on the stack (and will be doubled by Teysa, to no effect) just like a card like Zulaport Cutthroat would. So yes, you can play Promise, sac your entire board, then get it back all in one turn for free ETB/Dies.
Just watch out for Instant speed Enchantment removal, it WILL be a blowout if you sac your own Teysa and keep her in exile, just to see Promise get blown up before the end step.
That's a strange color combination for an enchantment focused card. Usually you see that in Bant or Esper. At least including green.
I agree and I had really been hoping for this to be Abzan. Perhaps with White playing the main enchantress color, it can still perform reasonably well?
I think I am going to try something out with it. I don't know exactly how well it will work, but maybe leaning on green is a bit of a crutch and this can be enjoyable in its own right? I definitely like the black card draw enchantments and that is most of what green tends to do anyway, so it might balance out.
Ghen could be fun in a Curse deck. They let you reset your curses (in a sort-of-round-about-way) from a player who's no longer a threat to the player who currently is one.
Always nice to see an archetype opened up to new colours. The only real downside is the relative lack of ways to efficiently and repeatedly untap Ghen in these colours. There's Gauntlets of Light and Thornbite Staff I suppose.

That's right, Mardu Enchantress. Here it runs with Wrath-friendly reanimation, the new black Vow, and a sac outlet.

and to me it implies his/her color spread used to be different.
Really wish they had been Abzan or Esper,
but a very cool design nonetheless.
