Anyone want to play draw-go? This will keep your engine running while reprints Cast Down and Supreme Will make sure you have something to do during everyone else's turn.
I guess its good for draw go throw a reanimate target in the yard? Idk, the casting cost is just wrecking it for me. Wouldve preferred a lower cmc and less of a fat ass
A tiny faerie with 6 toughness seems a bit insane.
Not a fan of that kind of immersion break.
Its like a fat squirrel with 1/6 stats, funny yes, but its just silly.
I get what you mean here. I usually look at these kinds of things as the power and toughness are more about what they're capable of as a whole, not just physically.
So, perhaps this Faerie is just very hard to kill because of her magic, her agility, etc. Sure, a flyswatter will kill her but it's incredibly hard to catch her. I realize the gameplay doesn't really work that way, but I think of it like this to get my head canon in a good place.

I think the toughness comes from the ironshell beetle it's riding on. Those things are tough to crack.
Kind of sad this doesn't have partner as it plays into that "Spells during your opponent's turn" a la Arena Trickster. BUT nothing says you can't run those and this card in a Grixis-style deck that cares about stuff like that.

Always love more Lorwyn cards! Dimir Faeries was always a deck I wanted to play, but never got around to because I've never played Standard or Modern and the deck's playstyle isn't a good fit for Multiplayer EDH. So this is nice CMC5 seems a bit much but Flash makes up for it.
I wish they'd give us more storybook-y art for the Lorwyn cards though. Johannes Voss does good work, but his stuff always looks very digital and on top of that there's just too much happening in this AW.
