Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Nothing feels rare at all as every ability is something you could see on a common. Modal makes it feel more uncommon than rare. It's pretty strong in limited, can't see anything beyond that. In reality it basically has two modes given the gain life ability is horrific relying on having a big creature in play to really do anything, I guess it's gravy when you kick it, but you're probably miles ahead when you kick this anyway.
Is this the most busted rare ever? No. But these are three effects that seem great for a midrange deck if low to the ground agro decks are running around. Kill a creature, win combat or negate a burn spell with a permanent boost, win a race by gaining a chunk of life. It feels like the first you cast for 2 which helps you cast the 2nd for 5.

This looks pretty good.
RUNIN: Norse mythology set (awaiting further playtesting)
FATE of ALARA: Multicolour factions (currently on hiatus)
Contibutor to the Pyrulea community set
I'm here to tell you that all your set mechanics are bad

Older Magic as a Board Game: Panglacial Wurm , Mill
Funny because entine, escalate, and several other mechanics have been called out for just being a variant of kicker. Full circle moment!
This card seems pretty strong, and definitely suggests a cycle. The blue one will be best - it will be like a cryptic command.
Probably a whole cycle of rares, yuck.

Spoiler hot takes on mtgsalvation are wild.
Could be a neat cycle but hope is low
