I think the question with these is always: when does this stop being a land?
the mechanic itself might be busted.
the idea of having like 10 regular lands and 16 more of spells like that on your deck would make for a crapton of taplands, but also making really, really hard for you to flood.
so far the spells attached to these lands are nothing special, but you never know.... the ability of not flooding seems damn powerful.
I think the question with these is always: when does this stop being a land?
They've already said that when you play them from your hand, you choose to play them as either side.
So barring chicanery where you animate the land, change its creature type to Werewolf/Human and cast Waxing Moon / Moonmist then your land will ALWAYS stay a land.

I think he means "When is the right time to stop playing these as lands and play them as creatures instead? The creatures are so bad, will that time ever come?"
Please, mill me. Mill my important cards. Mill my lands. Mill it all. Because I will still deal 20 damage before you can mill 45 cards most every time.
