Also, "4 mana symbols that have only appeared on 2 cards" probably isn't colorless hybrid mana, it's WURG. Has appeared on Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis, Ink-Treader Nephilim and now on new Omnath.
Good idea.
Odd wording for MaRo to use if true, though, because he definitely makes it sound like the symbols are returning not the specific combination of symbols that are individually all very much not returning.
• The return of four mana symbols that have each only ever been used on two cards before
So no, it's not a combination of mana symbols. twobrid is the only real answer here, though why they excluded one colour is beyond me.
Four-color Omnath, of course.
Twobrid would be the best way to include a random 4-color card in a multicolor-light set.
(Although one could argue that there have been quite a few random 5-color cards added into various sets, such as Niv-Mizzet Reborn)
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Angel Wizard? Do we get to light a blue angel on the table finally? (:D )
‘buster
Could still be mono white (white has like ~60 wizards, one released recently Drannith Magistrate) or azorius. It wouldn't be the first mono blue angel, too. Well technically at least... Illusory Angel. I think the chances that the 'Angel Wizard' don't has white are low. The angel in the artwork doesn't look like a wizard. So I think there will be at least 2 Angels.
Why are they adding a class type to an Angel is the main question here. They have done it twice and both were 'Angel Ally's. Likely because of some kind of mechanic. I don't believe they just want to set up some D&D feelings but who knows... Mark already mentioned that the default for Angel will still be classless.
A white creature that can make an opponent lose the game simply by attacking them no matter how much life they have
Well let's see what absurd condition you need on top of that. The creature most likely needs to connect but that wouldn't be enough. More life than the opponent and X life more than your starting life total? More creature/permanents than the opponent? 4-5 different types of permanents on your board? Needs to be equipped with at least 3 different equipment cards? I am skeptical.
A red/white creature with a line of rules text that starts with “Whenever” and ends with “draw a card”
The set has an equipment sup theme. Maybe something like: 'Whenever an Equipment enters the battlefield under your control, you may draw a card.'? It would be cool if the creature was legendary and doesn't involved attacking or connecting with an attack.

Note that Maro never said "with a single attack". It's quite possibly a condition that either has to be or usually is triggered over multiple attacks, like the opponent gaining counters and if they have too many, they lose the game.
Something like this comes to mind:
Whenever ~ attacks, defending player gets a number of stasis counters equal to the number of attacking creatures you control. Then if that player has 20 or more stasis counters, they lose the game.
This version actually fulfills both, it can happen in one attack or over multiple turns.
Its possible that the “White creature that can make an opponent lose the game simply by attacking them no matter how much life they have”, could also be the same card as the “If it’s the third time” as in: If it's the third time that CARDNAME has attacked this turn/opponent, then attacked opponent loses the game.
Tack it onto a 1/1 then it would make it hard to do so.
I also thought of the 'this turn' part as I was typing this, but this seems a more red thing than white, and the 3 separate turns would be more white, though maybe not enough hoops to jump through.
EDIT: Another thought is that it could be: If it's the third time that CARDNAME is blocked, defending player loses the game.
It is also possible that as someone else has mentioned, this may not be a mono white creature and could be WR or WU.
I highly doubt when Maro says "white creature" he means "partially or wholly white creature". It's not his riddle style. He likes to be tricky with his wording, but not directly misleading, and since he mentions multi-colourness of creatures in other hints, it seems likely that by white he just means mono-white.
I think that the Mana Symbol thing will be (2/W)(2/U)(2/R)(2/G) for Omnath, as all those symbols have only been used twice and makes sense for Omnath to be a bit splashy for Limited. Also I would believe that the 'red mana does not empty' may be Omnath, though it could be a red herring tbh.
Also the multi coloured card could be something like: 'sacrifice a creature you don't own and return target creature from an opponents graveyard with converted mana cost of X plus one, where X is the sacrificed creatures converted mana cost'
I think that the 3 activated copies will be something similar to Riku. T,RR: copy instant/sorcery. T,GG: create a token copy of target token/creature. T,2: create a token copy of target artefact.
~Funk Pirate
actually (2/W) Was only use once which is the reaper king it’s UBRG Of those symbols used twice and only twice
But some people now pointed out a he probably was tricky it could simply be the costs of Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis And Ink-Treader Nephilim for omnath but my counter arguement to that all main legends in commander 2016 and the Nephilim Have it
Oh going back to you lose if attacked by this creature probably a major hoops with
”beginning of next upkeep you lose the game unless X”
“Can only attack if X number of creatures are attacking”
“Has x more life than you”
“15:untap this creature” (probably not this due to Training Grounds Effect cards we have 4 including the grounds)
“Something like phyrexian dreadnought but can‘t loophole with Torpor orb Effects”
Yeah, I think he meant mono white. There were some discussion about white missing effects/mechanics that can win you the game.
I don't think that the 20 counter thing is reasonable for the opponent lose effect. It would be like a much worse infect effect. You need double the amount of counters from a specific creature and you need to attack 20 time rather than making it ATK dependent. In addition if I am connecting with creatures 20 times than usually my opponent should be dead. I don't see the benefit of this kind of effect :D. Maybe in some kind of Token setup and when I only need to declare attacks. 'If it’s the third time' feels a lot more reasonable and we saw something like this with Etrata, the Silencer.
The effect sounds really flashy. The most likely situation will be a big, expensive creature. In my opinion at least. I personal can't see a little 1/1 with this effect. The 1/1 situation would fit for a black/blue/green stealthy poison using character which doesn't fit white.
We have the 'When ~ attacks and at least X other creatures attack' trigger, too.

I swear everyone forgot about Spectral Procession entirely ever since Lingering Souls got reprinted. Every single thread I see otalking about that hint pretends like it doesn't exist.
Well I don't think that just connecting with the creature will be enough. They will play it more carefully/safer.
We are talking about the condition you need to met not the way you will win. I believe having the text 'If this creature attacks and deals damage etc. you win' is less dangerous. Thud, Chandra's Ignition, Fling and so on.

I mean, it doesn't show up on Gatherer because of the lack of reminder text in its oracle text making it difficult to search for.
Can you imagine the font size on the creatures with five (listed) creature types?
I also forgot that Bruna, Light of Alabaster was a blue angel (at least multicolour) but that's ok I'm still excited anyway.
- For the "whenever...draw a card" clause, I wonder if it's something like "whenever ~ becomes the target of a spell or ability, you may discard a card. If you do, draw a card." Fits in perfectly with the repercussion nature of red-based cards like Thunderbreak Regent and Retromancer and the like.
- Subset of creatures from alpha. They don't say how prevalent they are in the game. To my it sounds like something not really well represented or doesn't have a Lord-type of effect. That could be demons, gargoyles, illusions, plants, walls, etc.
- 20 minus. Probably a creature with power/toughness equal to 20 minus your life total. Sounds B oriented a la Death's Shadow.
That's all I got at the moment.

Are we sure those creatures with five creature types aren't just Figure of Destiny and Warden of the First Tree-type effects all over again, but with more creature types?

A lot of basic tribes were very well supported in original Zendikar, so it really wouldn't surprise me if it was a mainstream effect. That said, if we're looking for something more obscure that still jibes with the plane, then it's most likely plant (see Avenger of Zendikar et al).
