The full art version looks really nice, well done art.
The "normal" version is god awful (her face is so terrible).
At least the background has some details, but its just mediocre at best.
Card seems very weak for a planeswalker.
Basically everything it does is terrible, unless we get a totally broken equipment that makes it worth to equip it for free (which isnt too unlikely with a equipment matters theme, some of them have to be pushed).

A fairly decent Boros walker, I dig the equipment focus. Fairly blah outside of dedicated decks, obviously, since only her +1 does anything useful unless you're on theme.
I like this a lot. The more work you put in, the better she becomes.
Protects herself, provides attackers/stuff to equip to, fetches you a finisher & some renoval. All available right away instead a mostly useless ultimate.
Now we desperately need more equipment supply
People complainin' about the normal art and I'm just here happy this Nahiri didn't shart herself.
As for the card itself... it's okay, I guess. Reminds me of Calix, and Calix is a decent 'walker surrounded by a sea of card design mistakes. +1 is tokens at the very least, -2 digs six deep which as Winota has shown us makes it quite easy to hit someting and the -3 is underwhelming removal, though it does hits Planeswalkers. We'll need some really pushed Equipment support to make this Nahiri see play, but who knows.
It's interesting to me that all of the smaller depictions of Nahiri on the promo art are her in battle except for the one in the bottom right. Is she discovering a pokeball? I wonder if the art is meant to represent story bits and there's some level of importance to that object, or if it's just all thematic and not representative of anything.
Well Nahiri is a winner for limited play, if there is some good equipment in the set then maybe she will be picked and played alot. For Standard i guess the best option is to use Mace of the Valiant or maybe Embercleave

I guess all the walkers will have a thematic adventure movie poster as their promo art. I would not look too much into it but some rocks (ruins) in the masterpiece art for jace looks like it has the same symbol as some of the ruins in Nahiri art.
Someone brought it up on Reddit but the Ancients were a group of old planeswalkers, older than perhaps most of the Oldwalkers we know, though this is perhaps speculation on my part. They warred against the upstart Tolgath, then a 'new' generation of planeswalkers whose desire to learn somehow led to the conflict between the two groups. The Ancients and the Tolgath presumably could have had outposts on Zendikar, and thier war may have been interplanar in nature.
But even if these are the Ancients being referred to in the card, what does Nahiri stand to inherit from them? Their technology? Lore? Or their antagonism towards the younger generation of planeswalkers meddling in their affairs? Nissa and Jace witnessed what Nahiri did to Innistrad. They also know that for whatever reason, Ugin Nahiri and Sorin decided to trap the Eldrazi Titans on Zendikar. I doubt Nissa and Jace would have warm feelings towards Nahiri and I'm equally doubtful that Nahiri could believe this younger generation could ever understand the sacrifices she undertook to protect her world.
I could be wrong but names have meaning and this would not be the first time in the recent past that WotC has referenced some pretty obscure lore as the basis of a story arc.

the normal art is pretty bad but I say this card is beyond a beautiful inclusion to my Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale Knight tribal/equipment deck
edit: turns out Becca was only a few minutes earlier so it’s not a leak
EDIT: Card number looks to be 230/280. Does that appear to match up?

Or turn One distruption (discard), turn two SFM, turn 3 Sword+discard, turn 4 nahiri and equip.
It gets around Karn and stony silence shutting off equipment.

Oh well, there's still Pioneer.
She seems kind of eh, equipment powerlevel has been managed so carefully lately that I can't really imagine her taking off.
managerlord of Innistrad. Also the hair cut.Apart from hat I like her default art. It is a bit static but by no means bad. But I like Kor in general, so I am probably biased.

I like her face a lot here, just not her dark eyebrows (not very Kor)

Zendikar continues it's tradition of being the most boring plane in Magic after Mirrodon, that just happens to have some lands with really nice art.
