Shalai, Voice of Plenty is a good creature indeed (and i am still salty that she isn't mono white ) but she doesn't do anything specific for angels. She could protect your army of demons, dragons, humans equally. I was talking about specific tribal effects. She is a little strange, too. Her protection works best for big creatures while the activation should be used for a wide board (weenie, token) strategy. But sure if you like to add her to the list.

If I am not mistaken she is still a Serra Angel and I believe the elves didn't really trust her. But never mind, let's put it in another way. I would like to see the protection effect on a mono white angel.

No, certainly not. White does not get hexproof, this is a green or blue ability.
Im very tired of colour wheel bleeding that happens these days.
One could argue that hexproof should be white and not green, which I agree with since green gets way too much atm, but it definitely should not be in both colours.
Monowhite gets "player hexproof" and Shalai is I think the only card that does planeswalker hexproof currently, so I wouldn't say white doesn't get hexproof. I think sorcery speed non surprise hexproof sitting on a vulnerable creature that only protects your other stuff, but doesn't have hexproof itself, feels appropriately monowhite to me.
White does get hexproof protection for other cards. It is with green and blue the protective color. And we should take note that Shalai is a mono white creature, just the color identity for commander is green/white. So it would already be a blend in this case which I don't believe but well.
Even Privileged Position as being a hybrid card could be printed as mono white.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Already did before the command fest aired to close it everyone was way way way way way way...way off the rails with the subject your one of them by the way.

Personally, hexproof seems like a particularly white ability, and it should be primary with blue secondary and green tertiary.
