THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! Were getting commander legends cards way earlier than anticipated so it's probably coming out around Thanksgiving rather than Christmas
Yesssss! This is awesome! Thank you for the great news. Besides Theros this is the set I’ve been most excited for this year with Zendikar a close third.
so, is it time ignore zendikar already ? would be fine for me, already got bored of the set... and what was it again, which they promoted before ? something tripple or quadripple ? who cares... but tbh, i think they could hurry with more products.
do we know the price of the product already ? do they accept gold bar's ?
Isn't this a little soon, like incredibly soon? We don't even know the release date of the set and yet we're hyping this before Zendikar? Are they doing this because they can't push out more Secret Lairs and are having product spoiler withdrawal?

Don't forget we had 2XM cards spoiled 1 month before the spoilers started and before we even got spoilers for M21, they will mostly likely show a few legendaries, the release date and some booster gimmick and how we are gonna draft Commander I guess.
Commander Legends Collecter Boosters are also a possibility I'm predicting the'll give us alternate borderless art for some legendary creatures and or a card frame that somewhat resembles the way their 1st frame looked, kinda like a modernized version of this
Nothing helps distract people from losing their jobs, obliterating their savings, and not knowing how to plan for their future like watching the hobby they use for fun and relaxation hyping BRAND NEW PRODUCT AFTER BRAND NEW PRODUCT every other week.

So should Wizards put on hold any new product(s) until everyone has job, savings, and a good plan for their future?

let’s not go that far. But how bout they deliver Jumpstart, which was three products earlier, to stores actually. My LGS has still only gotten 4 of the 30 boxes preordered.
Makes it hard to trust them and put deposit down when can’t produce cardboard.
anything to deflect double masters controversies am i right. on to the next shiny thing. dont analyze our products. no time to digest or absorb. forget those flaws. consume. buy. hoard. gamble. get back on the train!

They could do a lot with the Collector's Boosters and it would be nice to have some call backs, but it's far more likely we get borderless stuff in a $150 pack that has one extra card in it.

You guys can’t let go of being pessimistic and pack prices for one day can you, plus that's master sets price tag for collector edition this is a supplement
Commander legends price is likely will be no different price tag to what battlebond/modern horizons that the price tag in a few months after print run stops
Besides I know why you guys are acussing the price being like this I can tell you guys your quite likely jumping the gun that the fetch lands are in the set

I mean how else can we earn the rep of a toxic negative site that other magic communities actively tell people to stay away from?

Im not saying that they're really doing anything wrong at all. These were all planned prior to COVID, so they're not really doing anything differently, good or bad, than they would have done anyway.
I'm just saying it's a feels-bad for a lot of us who were looking forward to buying and playing with the new stuff and now are likely unable to due to circumstances. It's a bummer to be excited for something, then have to give up on it, while still seeing all the hype that made you excited in the first place.

The way LGS have been going the last few years? MSRP will probably be like $129 per box, maybe, but most LGS will charge 8 ounces of gold (feel free to google that) and a blood contract.

Cheeseburger, french fries, chocolate shake, somebody's mind I's about to take!
After Double Masters having so many issues and Jumpstart still not being available, it's hard to get excited. It doesn't feel like they have gotten a release right without very justified, very fair criticism, without absolutely stepping in it in a VERY predictable way since....what, Ravnica Allegiance? So more than a year

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
The product density doesn’t bother me
Since I am highly selective and pursue only want I want
It’s all about personal restraint and standards tbh
Absolutely. This time in my life I’m really only a part of the MTG community as long as it takes me to bling out a handful of decks I’m really only building for my family for family night of MTG. Once I complete them, I haven’t decided if I’ll pick up standard or some other competitive format. Or not, and I simply take a bow and leave the game. I do appreciate Wizards printing as much product as they do as they sometimes do hit on things I want. Most often what they do isn’t for me. I feel content in my restraint to only window shop all the things Wizards does.
You guys can’t let go of being pessimistic and pack prices for one day can you
No.
Collector's Boosters are already a terrible product and I'll rag on them until they go away. "Hey everyone, wouldn't you love to get the same cards you can get for $4 for $25 instead? No? Well too bad, we're doing it anyways." Double Masters Collector's Boosters were far worse; it and normal Collector's Boosters deserve it.
Sorry, but I can't really get excited for this set. I should be, but I honestly forgot this set was even coming out and I was semi excited for it at one point. There are so many products that have so many things with them now (Ikoria with Commander, M21 with Jumpstart, Zendikar with Commander AND a new kind of booster (that's four different boosters now), Commander Legends with some extra Commander) that each one is just a blur to me among all of the releases and extra boosters and special products. This isn't product fatigue anymore, it's product abuse.
It's especially hard to get excited when products are so far behind being shipped that I have to wonder if this will be available.

This. I tend to only buy singles from a set a month after it's been out, once prices have mostly settled, and I stay away from collector's and theme boosters completely.
Talk about wallet fatigue, product fatigue, and the never-ending hype train all you want.
If Gavin previews a fetch reprint, I’ll lead the parade through the streets.
Even if the fetchlands were the only things in the common slot, people here would still complain about how much of a rip-off the product is. These forums are a paradoxical mix of broke Commander players and friends of mtgfinance. There is no winning.

I bet Commander Legends will release exactly 1 month after zendikar rising
