There will always be some bulk rares, but they could at least be spoiled with some nice cards ... Spoiling two rares worth less than a dollar is bit disappointing.
A bit off topic, but how many mythics can we expect to get in one Booster Box?
Again, imagine spending 12 to 15 dollars to buy a pack and ending up with these 2 as your rares.
S@#$% you WotC/Hasbro.

In hindsight, it should have been obvious way back at the introduction of mythic rarity (in shards of alara) that the eventual model would be that greater than 90% of the value of a set would be tied up in the mythics, with rares behaving more like uncommons. Maybe it's just surprising it took this long for that to become crystal clear.
I know there are a lot more cards to spoil, but just going off of TCG, it's worth noting that there are currently only five Rares going for more than the cost of a Double Masters pack in preorder. There are TEN in M21. So i'm not good at math or probability, but unless they are greatly upping the number of mythics in the AVERAGE box, M21 which apparently has trash EV has a lower chance of dud packs. or something like that because double rares are odd

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
In a regular Master set (24 boosters in a box) I think it was normal to get 3-4 mythics. As this is "double"; more than twice as many rares and twice as many mythics, as well as two rares/mythic in each booster, shouldn't that mean it would be 6-8 mythics in a Double Master booster box?
I do expect some more value rare cards (maybe Panter's Servant and Grindstone, to name a couple), but most of the value seems to be in the mythics.

Worth pointing out that with 121 rares in this set, there's more rares than uncommmons. So this may be a particular feature of double masters having a massive rare pool, rather than a new trend.
Prime examples of cards that should be uncommon at this point and especially in a set expensive like this.
The rarity they follow is just completely messed up and misses the entire point of what rarity is supposed to be (as this has nothing to do with balancing "limited" , as this entire product is not about limited at all).
But...but...you can’t question WotC’s wonderful generosity.😜
At this points it would be a mercy kill if WotC goes out of business. Yet people still shill and defend the company.

Mythics are 1/8 of rare slots, and there's 24 packs with two rare slots each, so 6 mythics out of 48 slots. Theres also usually a 2-4 foil rare/mythics in a regular masters box as well, so you're looking at probably 3-7 here, one of which will likely be mythic.
Grammy gives 12 year old Billy $20 for his birthday. Billy has seen the hype for Double Masters and has dreams of opening Jace, Moxen and other powerful Mythics in a pack. Billy rides his bike down to the local LGS, masks up and goes in. There they are, 2XM at $16 a pack. Takes out his 20, pays $17.60 (due to 10% tax) that $3.40 change isn't enough for a pack of M21 but hey he can get some candy and soda with it. He is too excited to wait to get home and open. Rips it open and pulls these 2 turds spoiled above and 2 foil jank commons. Finds out he can get a dollar store credit for ALL 4 cards TOGETHER. Quits MTG that day, never buys/plays/collects again.
So I say again $^@#$ you WotC/Hasbro.
This is flat out GAMBLING. Masters Packs (any pack over $4) should have an 18+ sell to, on the pack. ID to buy them.

This would definitely be a terrible set for a casual buyer to go into.
Yeah I'm also on the singles train now. There's too much jank here for $16 -- but I do look forward to picking up some of these, er... Commander Masters cards on the cheap?
