This moves the needle for some. Me? I don’t have a use for JtMS and I’d rather save my money for a mint Revised Volcanic Island and Underground Sea then track down foil Woldwake JtMSs.

While true, that has usually been because of the different art treatments (Borderless, Showcase, Extended) found in Standard sets, while this just has the borderless art cards. That said, it appears likely that the walkers are indeed at the start of the extra cards as it would be highly unlikely for there to be no borderless cards between Karn and Jace, however the possibly remains that there are no borderless cards between them. We will have to wait and see.
EDIT: with the Cyclonic Rift borderless card reveal, they are indeed front loading the planeswalkers.
