The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Essentially it has to be tapped to be targeted and worse if someone cast a Dramatic Reversal like card in response to being targeted it becomes a illegal target thus countered
And now we got a brand new character who doesn’t have a card now
Goes by the name of ”Tahim, the puppetmaster”
Actually based on the wording I think Dramatic Reversal won't do anything as it only has to be tapped when cast, it doesn't see to care about tapped/untapped after cast.

I think you actually can still have the card resolve if they untap the creature in response. The restriction is worded so that it limits what you are allowed to choose as a target as you cast it - but does not say anything about the creature needing to be tapped as a legal target. Weird?
That said, guess they decided Mind Control was too strong for limited at uncommon. This is still very powerful, I think.
Man, Control Magic started off as an uncommon... Then we got a strictly worse version in Mind Control. And now we get an even more weak version??? Power seep, I tell you...
Why doesn’t it just say “Enchant tapped creature” in the vein of Dream Leash?
lol we are suffering of mandela effect here (i also thought it was "enchant tapped permanent")
Well the wording is weird when you think about "enchant tapped creature" but this way the aura isn't countered or leaves the battlefield once the creature is untapped.
This looks good for limited but not nearly as good as past mind control effects in standard.
Why doesn’t it just say “Enchant tapped creature” in the vein of Dream Leash?
Dream Leash has the exact same text. The reason they don’t say that is because the card wouldn’t do anything. If an enchanted thing no longer fits the parameters entailed in that line then the enchantment falls off. So something that says “enchant yapped creature” would fall off during your next untap step. Next time you’re on Arena or Modo put an aura on a live Theros god then get rid of your devotion.

I was wrong about Dream Leash’s wording,
but so are you— it’s definitely different from this card, which is clunkier by comparison.
Also, this card is terrible.
It’s worse than almost every similar card we’ve gotten recently,
with the possible exception of Domestication at Rare.

So I rather use mind control thank you very much

"Enchant permanent
You can't choose an untapped permanent as this spell's target as you cast it.
You control enchanted permanent."
So essentially this card is rarity-decreased creature-only version of Dream Leash.
other cards better but different name adds another to the deck
