Garruk, Unleashed 2GG
Legendary Planeswalker - Garruk
+1: Target creatures gets +3/+3 and gains Trample until end of turn.
-2: Create a 3/3 green Beast creature token. Then, if an opponent controls more creatures than you, put a loyalty counter on Garruk, Unleashed.
-7: You get an emblem with "At the beginning of your final step, you can search your library for a creature card, put it on the battlefield, and then shuffle your library."

Seems okay. Definitely seems better at aggressive Green decks, as that +1 really needs some pressure to be really effective.

He seems quite playable but it's not exactly the freshest design now is it?
I feel like planeswalker design space in general, and monocolor in particular, is pretty stunted. Nissa is the "mana and animating lands" PW, and Vivienne kind of took over Garuuk's role as the beast-loving and creature pumping PW. This Garuuk feels a lot like a Vivienne. I think him having a fight or a punch ability may have made him feel more like a hunter, but then again Viv has been given that ability too.

Yup. I feel that green experiences this the most out of monocolor (except maybe red). Green's mono-walkers are pretty homogeneous outside of Nissa, in all honesty. They have some combination of pump, creature making/fetching, card draw, and sometimes there's removal of some kind (either fighting damage or some direct removal with restrictions) - that's literally almost every ability on a mono-green walker that isn't Nissa. Wildspeaker has his untap two lands, and two Vivs have static abilities relating to casting creatures and that's it for abilities outside that box.
It's not like green isn't capable of more, they just seem reluctant to experiment.

Maybe Garruk should be able to pick up some of Giedon's 'I am also a creature' type abilities on account of Gideon being gone now and him being a hunter and all. Maybe something like:
+1: Garruk becomes a 5/5 creature with trample that fights up to one creature target opponent controls at end of turn. Combat and fighting damage does not cause Garruk to lose loyalty.

It's really a shame that the latest Vivien also started making 3/3 tokens, because prior to that, making lotsa tokens felt like Garruk's niche as a Green 'walker and they had some other small differences that made it work - for example, in all eight iterations of Garruk, not a single one puts counters on creatures. Had they kept token-making away from Vivien and instead kept her as a card advantage, +1/+1 counters, toolboxing Green 'walker while Garruk is the brute force, go-wide tokens Green 'walker, I'm sure it wouldn't be as bad.
I still think it's not as bad as White's state of affairs. Basri, Elspeth and Ajani pretty much have the same mechanical niches, with only Ajani getting "lifegain matters" to stand out from the three, and now with Gideon gone, it's telling how I feel like the most well-defined of the bunch is the one that only has a single card to her belt.

In my opinion, white's issue isn't a shallow pool of mechanics its planeswalkers pull from, it's that each character's mechanical identity bleeds into others because of an overabundance of things white's planeswalkers do. So they all dip into everything and many of them feel indistinct as a result. It's the opposite problem than with green where there's overlap despite theoretical character differences because green walkers really only do a relatively small number of things.
Ajani, for example, has had abilities that: gained life, put +1/+1 counters on your team, had effects that cared about lifegain/life totals, gave creatures keyword soup, put loyalty counters on other walkers, did damage reduction, recurred weenies, mass token generation, exiled creatures, and cast a one-sided board wipe. Just the mono-white Ajanis have almost as much ability diversity as all of mono-green's walkers (including Nissa).
And other white planeswalkers do have specific mechanical identities. Gideon has his creature thing and a general paladin feel of tanking and damage/creature mitigation, Nahiri does her equipment thing, and Teyo does big defence. I think Elspeth and Basri are (like Garruk & Viv) a little too overlapped, so you've certainly got a point there, though I think the two could be differentiated with only a little effort, same as Garruk & Viv (like you correctly pointed out).
His picture might be the very worst Planeswalker picture so far honestly
I like it, makes me want to pump iron and scream "Nyyyaaaarggh!!"
The idea of having a Garruk that can act like Gideon (become a creature) would be cool too. I think it would fit the character. This is a cool card too, but not sure if it's "too mediocre" or not.

"Yeah, they're very close mechanically. We put Vivien in Core Set 2019 because we need a creature-based Planeswalker and Garruk was still cursed."
"The major differentiator is that Vivien carefully selects the right creature with the right abilities for the job. Garruk summons big dumb beasts."
"And the lesson is, "Don't disable a character who expresses one of the core expressions of a color for ten years.""
If I was cutting up space I'd say Vivien would get tutoring/searching, cheating creatures and giving them stuff like haste/flash to show her shooting them from her bow. Garruk would pump, make big tokens and give trample/fight and as mentioned by someone else, let Garruk make mana (tied to creatures to help Nissa).

I seriously thought this was just a reprint of the original Garruk at first - Garruk Wildspeaker - but I see it's somewhat different. Not drastically different - the emblem is nice, but for real, as others have said, seems like WotC is running out of resign space with green walkers (Possibly just mono-colored walkers in general?)
The issue here is R&D is really stingy on planeswalker abilities after Liliana of the Dark Realms came out. They draw the lines really close, so each planeswalker has this really narrow powerset. So Garruk and Vivien will always have creatures mechanics, while Nissa is land-based, with very small room for exploration.

Yeah, but ever Since Vivien came along (while Garruk was corrupted / on hiatus) she really took over most of the abilities he would have. Since he is "reborn" now I think they missed the chance to make him do something that differentiates him - like turning into a creature and fighting, as someone suggested. Or they could have kept him as the 3/3 beast-maker, but they gave that to Viv too.
Maybe he could have been a "trample tribal" planeswalker, giving your creatures trample, creating creatures with trample, or letting your creatures with trample punch opposing creatures. Would have stood out while still being very green and within Garruk's identity.
