Counter target spell unless its controller pays 1. If you control a creature with flying, counter target spell unless its controller pays 4 instead.
Turn your Censor into Convolute by playing flying creatures. Which creature lets this be playable in (insert Constructed format here)?
That's probably playable in constructed since flying creatures appear 100% of the time in all formatS
More love for Izzet tempo builds, it's not like there's a lack of playable 1-drop flyers right now. An improved Mana Leak shouldn't be underestimated. So far I'd say this looks like the best Core Set in a very long time, I find it more interesting than Ikoria to be honest.
M21 seems to be the set where WOTC indirectly apologizes to players for the cluster**** that was companion. Methinks they knew ahead of time it would be a disaster.

While I agree, it's partially because nothing was playable outside of the Winota + Companions, because there are too many strong cards that overshadow them all. I've had a lot of fun with Ikoria on arena, but as long as I'm not playing ranked I get to avoid all of the 3feri decks, and other cards leaning so heavily on the broken War for the Spark pw's.

You've been rather lucky avoiding those decks, if there's something that pisses me off in Arena is when I grab my jankier decks like Dimir Control or Gruul Aggro to complete some daily quest in unranked just to run into Yorion bullsh*t 3 times in a row...at least Lukka+Agent is gone now. In any case what turns me off about Ikoria is the flavor and the whole Companion mechanic, big splashy creatures aren't my thing and I never liked Companion, felt like trying to port an element of Commander (which isn't my thing at all) into Standard, just to dramatically errata it after it got out of hand, probably because they were much more interested in pushing that gimmicky mechanic than finding out how busted and repetitive it was.
