Pridemalkin 2G
Creature- Cat
When Pridemalkin enters the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature you control.

2/1
The Cats see what has been done for Dog tribal and raiseyou... this.
Huh, this is a... Common? In a core set? That's interesting. Even in sets wherecounters are a theme, this kind of thing is often reserved to Uncommons. But apparenty Nylea's Forerunner set the standard on how this kind of stuff works and apparently that's just the power level of Commons in 2020 Magic.
The art and the mechanics on this one *really* do not match up at all, though. It's a cool mechanical design to see at common, for sure, but what does any of that have to do with a basic house cat that can be a 3/2 pseudo-lord?

My words. Very cute, however. And if I ever ran it again, I'd put it in my Arahbo, Meow of the World Commander deck.

Agreed. Completely nonsensical flavor. They apparently just really needed another cat to hit critical mass for jumpstart or limited tribal things and this Crowned Ceratok variant had to be repurposed with some leftover Ravnica art.

A regular HUMAN is a 1/1 in Magic and now they made a puny cat a 2/1 that can be a 3/2...with trample. Was it too much to make it a Leonin or a badass tiger instead? Oh, well, talk about power creep, next time we'll get a 3/3 Squirrel.

You know what? I'm not complaining.
Goes together for your Rin and Seri Dog Cat deck.
