It looks kinda like exalted and convoke combined, but I doubt it'll do anything, even in Limited.
It's not that bad in limited....
it's not rare to have those weird stalemate boards in limited where neither player can attack because both have like 8 dudes.....
an 6/6 double striker oftentimes can do pretty good attacks in almost any board.....
I don't think it would ever be your deck's MVP, but certainly playable in limited if you're on a "go wide" strat
It's an interesting card for any casual Soldier tribal deck, at least. It's low printed power means it has synergy with white's "creature with power 2 or less" cards like Mentor of the Meek, Lena, Selfless Champion and Militia Bugler that pop up in some casual builds, yet it functions as a solid finisher. Between anthems and swarms of Soldier tokens, the Strike will rarely attack as less than a 6/6. It probably sucks outside casual Soldiers, and even then its inclusion is iffy.
This can actually be crazy in Winona decks...stack the triggers so winota triggers first, creating a bunch of tokens, then tap those tokens to buff this dude
