First strike doesn't do anything with fight effects.
This seems like expensive removal that requires you to have a creature, but with the upside of getting to attack with a high power creature afterward. Not in love with it, but great art and flavor text.
I like that it's a spell referencing a legendary creature, in this case Ghalta. I prefer when we get thematic spells instead of "generic creature attacking genetic creature for generic purpose"
Green's Banefire.
It's always a Prey Upon but if you need a few extra stats you can pay up to what you can need, and it doubles as a game ender to pump some evasive creature and maybe clear a blocker. Seems good.
Prey Upon that isn't dead when your creature is smaller and is a big tempo play late in the game. I love this card a ton and will easily find some homes for it.
Really good "removal" because it is an updated version of Prey Uponduring the early and mid game, whereas in late game is just better even though you have to TAP all of your lands.
What really hold back this kind of cards is the sorcery speed.
My vote is 6,5/10 = nice as green removal, but that's all.

And we just got the hydra Legend and why is it only a single G
If it was instant this would have been even better

it not bad in edh, but its also kind of out classed just through the sheer abundance of fight effects (that almost no one utilizes anyway)

*(“Almost” because x can be a downside in some fringe cases, for instance prey upon can still be cast with Gaddock Teeg on the battlefield.)
I'd imagine Ghalta to be bigger than depicted here, however.

RUNIN: Norse mythology set (awaiting further playtesting)

I'm here to tell you that all your set mechanics are bad

Older Magic as a Board Game: Panglacial Wurm , Mill
As a sorcery, its more of a finisher, kill something and attack for the extra damage.
Thats much much less spectacular.
