Mangara, the Diplomat 3W
Legendary Creature- Human Cleric
Lifelink
Whenever an opponent attacks with creatures, if two or more of those creatures are attacking you and/or planeswalkers you control, draw a card.
Whenever an opponent casts their second spell this turn, draw a card.
2/4
Leak confirmed. I like this space for white card draw. It's still basically taxing and Ghostly Prison effects, but the price is cards for you, not just mana.
Also, nice to see Mangara in his prime.

I like that it doesn't give white draw advantage per say (which is suppose to be its weakness) but lets it instead keep up or limits what your opponents do.

This seems very average to me. I feel like this had to be 3 mana to make any real waves. At 4 mana it's an EDH card as the effects are simply too slow to come online and the stats are too average to make up for it.
This is great in the 99 for EDH, I have several decks I want this for. Generally speaking, he'll passively draw you at least 3 cards in the first couple turns he's out while making combat and politics more likely to work to your advantage. I like that if the attack trigger isn't really relevant, the spell clause likely will be and vice versa. Either way, he can net you some good card draw without much investment, allowing you to draw into answers and use them right away. A lot of white's card draw is mana intensive which slows you down, where Mangara is much more forgiving, though the trade off is that you don't get to control the draw.
Yeah this goes in my heliod deck. It could draw me some cards and it has lifelink. Sure a candidate for the 99. With this card we already know 3 white mythic cards.

This is a good direction for white card draw, but does seem a little slow. I wish it drew for each creature attacking while still keeping the draw on the second spell opponents cast. That way it would work against go-wide decks that have already emptied their hands by the time Mangara hits, and still be good against control and midrange when they get to two spell turns. As is, still a good card and a step in the right direction.
hes strong and a huge step in the right direction for white but i dont necessarily agree with it being mythic. White has been so far behind for this sort of thing in edh that this guy is pretty much a new staple there and he doesnt feel quite complex enough for a mythic especially since its still conditional draw, tacked onto a creature

This is a great addition to my new Jirina Kudro Mardu Humans deck, which I might pull apart to make instead a Samut Voice of Dissent Naya-Human tribal deck. I am however confused. I thought everything was pushed back until tomorrow?

They stated that it is a +1/+1 type of lord, BUT, such a cleric lord does not exist so it is a posibility.
I definitely could see it being a cleric lord, and maybe these two spoiled legends hint at that, but that would disappoint me a bit. Cleric already has a decent amount of tribal support, if not an outright lord, and a lord for a never-supported type would open up more doors. On the other hand, a cleric lord and an edgewalker reprint (with "cleric tribal" being the white/black limited archetype) would be pretty cool.

We don’t have the tribal legend for clerics is what special about it
But it could still be dog since it’s errata update incoming and they need so many dogs that support the tribe (as much as the dinosaurs got)
Is it somehow from lore that he is a cleric? As diplomat, I'd expect him to be of the Advisor subtype.
More or less, he could probably have been trained in healling magic and protection magic (as sujested by the cards mentioning hin). He should be a Wizard/Cleric/Advisor probably but they probably choosed Cleric for a in set theme tho.

The only cleric lord I want a reprint of is Rotlung Reanimator. The memories of people wrathing my board when I had 2 RR and 2 or 3 other clerics.
I honestly want to see more along the line.
