Reprinting any level up creature in a nonmasters set would mean revisiting that mechanic, which is generally considered a failure. So don't get your hopes up.
Well what other choices are there this is the only one I could find that fits the teaser
But my hopes aren't up it's just the only one I could see that fits and I don't know how to search for this one on scryfall
All of these would be great. Elf and Merfolk would be OK as well, but we already have those.
I would love a Flamekin walker. Unfortunately, with the way wotc have been doing things lately, i expect some human from either innistrad or ravnica. But i really hope i'm wrong. If they do go with Lorwyn, watch them troll us and make a kithkin walker
Does this mean the return of Sagas? I don't think that aura would be worth a mention. Cartouche and shrines are to specific. So maybe curses? But even that isn't worth a mention, doesn't it?`
A card with a unique protection.
A French Vanilla mythic rare.
Could be a new creature, too. But yeah Baneslayer Angel is the first creature that comes to mind. Would be sad if we don't get some new angels :/.
A card that’s never been reprinted before which has a 2, 3, 5 and 6 all appear on the card.
Some card with level up? (They have plenty of figures, but unlikely). I don't know The only cards that comes to mind could be an artifact with multiple activation abilities or planeswalker. I think maybe the lore text could have some numbers, too.
A card that gains all activated abilities of a certain subset of cards in a place it’s never done it before.
Necrotic Ooze Graveyard were done before. Maybe battlefield or Exile? Battlefield were done with Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God. I don't know if that counts. I think exile would be the most likely.
My vote is with sagas. Teferi has been around for a lot of big events and has been implied in a few of them himself. so it makes sense

Unless someone has specific reason to think that level up is coming back, I think Massacre Wurm is more likely of the two. Level up requires a decent amount of ongoing "tracking" so probably isn't great for a core set, and right after Ikoria with mutate stacks and ability counters it just seems excessive.
My guess for the "activated abilities from a new zone" is you play with your hand revealed and it has activated abilities of permanents in your hand.
I feel like teasing a "human monk" reprint is meant to make us think Monastery Mentor, but it's not gonna be that.
Despite the clue, I don't think we are getting BoP or lightning bolt in this core set. Does green need a second 1-mana fixer to go along with gilded goose? And lightning bolt, while it has been reprinted in standard in modern times, just seems to invalidate too many other burn spells wotc has printed or would want to print in the future.
The 31-option card may be colorless with a mana cost of 5 generic, and "If U was played, do X" but for each color.
If the new tribal lord is hound, which seems quite possible, maybe it also pumps dogs. Didn't Maro recently say that he's been pushing to get dogs made as a creature type and consolidated with hounds?

Not only maro mentioned it one of the playtest cards from mysteryboosters did
And 31 choices it’s definatly colors
Excluding colorless
5 with mono color
10 with guild colors
10 with shard//wedge colors
5 with Nephilim colors (4-color)
And finally 5-color that’s 31 no need of colorless
“Choose any number of colors”
Level up could be a plant for return-to-return-to-Zendikar, but I rather doubt it. Likewise, I strongly doubt Lightning Bolt will be coming back, considering how widely regarded it was to be a mistake last time, and the ripples it would have in Pioneer.
• A brand new planeswalker (from a plane we’ve visited)
If I had to guess, I'd say it's probably a new B Planeswalker. I did some quick crunching and Black has both the lowest total number of mono- Planeswalkers of all colors (only Liliana, Davriel and Ob Nixilis) as well as the lowest representation amongst multicolors (8 multicolor Planeswalkers not counting Bolas which is gone, and counting Tezzeret that could shift colors after WAR). White is also a second possibility, mainly because they also have low representation amongst multicolors and also because White Planeswalkers have the bad habit of dying all the time.
If the card in question were Lighthouse Chronologist,
do you *really* think Maro would have been able to stop himself from saying the card had “1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7”?
A really simple possibility for the card with 31 options could also just be a modal spell with "choose one or more" and five choices.
Choose one or more:
Option A
Option B

You could choose:

I could see Lightning Bolt. It's actually stronger in older formats where it kills basically everything. In standard, people actually play creatures expensive enough that they could have 4+ toughness that aren't named Tarmogoyf. Yeah, it's strong but I don't remember people complaining about it in standard when it was in standard. Now, it obsoleting other burn is accurate, but how much interesting burn do we get? We don't tend to get lots of cool riders like when Wrath of God went away. Burn is usually just straight forward damage and I quite enjoyed the era of conditional 4 damage burn.
As far as mythic french vanilla, it could also be Darksteel Colossus. I still like good ol Darksteel. I doubt it's anything that was in commander 2020, though. Yeah, Baneslayer is possible but I'd rather have Robot.
Lorwyn lacks planeswalker cards (Most likely Oona or Maralen or Ashling)
Rabiah lacks a planeswalker card (Taysir literally embodies the WUBRG planeswalker niche more so than Urza ever did who was more WUR or WUBR)
Innistrad might give us Thalia as she is a fan favorite and would be approaching Jeska levels of having a dormant spark but not ascending.

That's even better and more elegant than the mana symbol solution mentioned before, nice.
I was thinking, after that first solution, something like:
"Choose any number of different colors. Spells you cast with exactly the chosen color or combination of colors [something]."
Lightning Bolt would see lots of play in pioneer in red decks, but let's not pretend it would break the format. A lot of the current top decks it does very little against. Creatures are getting more efficient all the time, and the more efficient creatures get the weaker an effect like Lightning Bolt gets.
ferila asked:
If standard's power level is being pushed again, what are the odds of seeing powerful reprints come to standard? Specifically I have Lightning Bolt in mind.
---------------------------------------
Pushing certain areas of Stsndard is not the same as pushing all areas of Standard.
Also, us accidentally alllowing a broken card in the environment because we misjudged its power level is not an invitation to bring back broken cards of the past.
By what definition is Lightning Bolt broken, it has been banned to my knowledge. Its not even been format warping for decades, it's just a staple in the formats it's legal in like many cards.
One thing I do wonder though is obviously the set was printed when Obosh, the Preypiercer wasn't meant to be nerfed, would they really print it with such an insane obvious interaction out of the gates, but then who knows what the play design team see recently given the past year.

Its not broken, and its not about obsoleting burn spells...
What it has done historically is forced out almost every creature with a toughness 3 or less. In that regard bolt has warped standard almost any time its appeared. Thats been discussed at almost every point in its history
Could it be reprint here? Sure of course. Would i bet on it? Not really, it invalidates way too many creatures, especially in a standard environment with a ton of removal already
I personally don't feel that the human monk will be monastery mentor as reintroducing prowess for a single card seems kind of unlikely for a core set that is already revisiting phasing. Other human monks might include:
Avacyn's Pilgrim: Nice mana ramp that's is a bit less powerful than BoP in most settings, though the fact that BoP was supposedly removed doesn't have me holding my breath. Azusa, Lost But Seeking: The fact that Zendikar and landfall are just around the corner and that this card is decently pricy makes this a potentially juicy inclusion that is otherwise hard to reprint out of Masters sets. The fact that she would be taking up a legend slot in a teferi-themed set and has no link to Teferi is the only thing that really makes me hesitant. Mantis Rider Fairly neutral in flavor and had a decently large impact on standard last time it was around. Narset, Enlightened Master: Seems unlikely as she was in the Women's day secret lair drop and just had another planeswalke rcard printed... and again is a legend with no link to Teferi (that I can remember). Serra Ascendant: This card I feel fairly strong about, actually. It was "printed" into historic not too long ago, hasn't seen print since iconic masters, and helps to support the "life gain matters" deck that wizards has been forcing into relevance for the last year or so. Soulfire Grandmaster: This is the last real possibility that isn't 100% chaff... and that doesn't bring prowess back. Would seem out of place unless wedges are being supported, though, and the last core set already supported wedges so that seems a bit unlikely.
I guess that my big three predictions for that monk are either Azusa, Ascendant, or Mantis Rider.
