Sigh. No Path of Ancestry in every deck, despite the fact it is a strictly better upgrade over Tri-lands. Would it have really been too much to include? $5-$6 cards are the perfect sweet spot for reprints.

Its a good start for a person new to cycling. Between Gavi, Perspectives, and Flux you have all three of the enablers. With payoffs you get the Lion, Rift, Haven, Tectonic, even a Soul Cairn to give you a bevy of ways to capitalize on it. Crpytic Trilobite is interesting as it basically behaves as a Sol Ring for your cycling costs. The way the deck is setup is defintely to encourage token spam rather than a Jeskai version of Nekusar Wheels.
I play commander pretty casually, don't upgrade much. I got Commander anthology 2 and Breed lethality is my favorite, wonder if combining the best of it with the new Symbiotic swarm deck best cards could brew something interesting.
IMHo these commander decks seem more interesting than the last two years at least from the new cards printed.
I will probably get the Mardu deck, because Tribal Humans is something I've wanted to make for a long time. Disappoints me that all the Green Human support in Innistrad block is just totally irrelevant here, but it might turn out to be fun.
Looks like Kalamax is on the low end of the value scale. According to DJ, who did the deck reveal, highest value reprints are arcane signet and Lightning Greaves. A little disappointing. Cycling pulled it off with The Locust God (not counting fluctuator because the only reason that card was pricey was it was old and it got spec’d on). Shame they couldn’t give the other decks a high value reprint like that.

The EVs are really out of wack at this point because the values for the new cards are... kind of crazy. The only ones I'm nearly certain of holding value are the "cast for free" spells. The blue one could be Teferi's Protection level, and in descending order black, white, red, then green.

I agree it’s essetionally commander’s version of force of negation you don’t even need to exile a blue card for this freebie

I just mean from a reprint value standpoint. I'm well aware that the value of the new cards are going to have to settle before real determinations are made. That said, looks like Ruthless Regiment is pretty low reprint value too. Highest cards are Arcane Signet, Knight of the White Orchid, and Shared Animosity. all around 4-6 dollars. Not really sure why they got it right with the Cycling deck but seem to have missed on the others in terms of reprints. Abzan did okay with Karametra being almost $10 and, unlike Geth from last year, actually being a card people play.
By the way, I think I missed the Zenith Flare from Timeless Wisdom from spoilers and/reprints. Does anyone know which card is this?
At the moment, no. It's not one of the new cards for the commander deck, so the assumption is that it's a new card from Ikoria that hasn't been spoiled yet.
I'm not complaining too much. Yeah, not a lot of value but there are good cards in the decks. I'll take generally positive direction versus an outright negative one. Is it all I wanted. No. But it is good enough.

Already got my deck pre-ordered.
They definatly did better than 2019 “timeless wisdom” is by far the closest to what the years were before 2018
For everyone else I do have my best guess’s for what could be are chase card of this year commander decks (outside the Zendikar and commander legends decks)

On the abzan one I have to say Deathbridge Chant could have been Sidisi, Undead Vizier or Greater Good to not say a Meren of Clan Nel Toth. Kinda meh as it is now, lots of additions to make.
