i'm just not a fan of building around cycling, but i see where they're kind of useful. i think the the cycling cost on dismantling wave is needlessly high given all the other ways white in particular can nuke all artifacts, enchantments, or both.

What does Gavi do?
Also, its much harder to counter a cycling ability than it is to counter a spell.

Is it needlessly high? It certainly looks a little high but the card is "6WW - Instant - Uncounterable(not quite uncounterable but then neither is uncounterable) Destroy all artifacts and enchantment Draw a card." With an alternative 3CMC, multi-enemy disenchant. Typing it all out and considering the other benefits to cycling and it now sounds reasonable to cheap.
All three are good utility for the deck. I think the Herald is quite pricey, but depending on the build it could be game winning all on its own.
The Wave is great without the cycling aspect, it'll always net you something from everyone making it an X for 1 where X is the number of opponents you have. Yes, half of what you'll pick off are mana rocks of some kind, but that still matters in terms of early game. I think the cycling cost is far too high outside Gavi, but it's quite the huge wallop in Gavi so that's neat.
Resonance is fine. Not my style, but it'll do things for somebody, I'm sure.

Agreed
Reminder on crystalline though it’s like a enchantment cycling triggered version of mirage mirror
for those of you jumping all over my ass about dismantling wave...
i said its cost was high, not bad.
i do understand its uncounterable (barring stifle effects of which there have been a significant increase), but outside of navi 8 mana is a lot to use on this effect - especially when it pops your toys too. outside of the navi deck, i don't expect to see it often. i feel that's a fair assessment and in no way means its a bad card. niche playable is fine.
Herald of the Forgotten is good. Expensive but good. As when you throw in Fluctuator or New Perspectives, Herald might as well be letting you draw a lot of cards for just the 6WW. With the new jeskai partners, that can also mean a lot of extra purphoros-esque damage and a lot of lifegain. As herald is more of your haymaker.
Dismantling Wave makes a lot of since for its 6WW cost. 5 for cleansing nova, 1 for the uncounterability from cycling, 2 from the self-replacement card draw from cycling. Also again Flux and Perspsctives make this cheaper to clean house with while getting destroyed in the process. But perhaps destroying a stax lock from a bunch of enemy artifacts and enchantments is just what you need to reach lethal.
Crystalline Resonance is very interesting and probably will have a lot of must-have utility.
Would put these in the other thread but too late to edit the title
But anyway start speed artifact and enchantment removal is nuts and remember the commander Changes it to 0
And you got a creature that one sided recursion

How very unlike them to include such an obviously on-theme reprint!
I’m digging Crystalline Resonance as a way to get a second Rhystic Study out.
You could also do some cute ***** with it in a Superfriends deck.
