Spellfire Phoenix 3RR
Creature- Phoenix
Flying
Whenever Spellfire Phoenix enters the battlefield, return target instant or sorcery with cycling from your graveyard to your hand.
At the beginning of each end step, if you cycled two or more cards this turn, return Spellfire Phoenix from your graveyard to your hand.
4/2
So that's where the (insert set mechanic) Phoenix of the set went.
That said, this thing is bad. Too much to ask for it to go back into play? It’s 5 mana on a meh body, it’s etb is super limited and the condition to get it back is no small thing.
It's a pretty underwhelming card at a first glance save for its unique ability to return itself and cycling cards, which makes it go from underwhelming to interesting. I wish it was a 4 mana card though.
I mean, it's slow, but until its exiled you're going to be getting a lot of value out of it in Gavi cycling builds. There are more flexible options, but it is a repeatable effect which could be alluring. I'll try it out, at least, but when I start modifying the Gavi deck, it'll be one of the first new cards removed.

Elspeth and Jhoira rock my world.
Yep, pretty much. Still my first thoughts went to reanimation spells...
