One week of spoilers seems really small for an entire set and commander decks.
Not when everyone's at home doing nothing. I'm expecting a really dense spoiler season.
My job has had me working from home for over a month. I was just thinking how hard spoiler season is going to be this time around considering they'll drop 300+ cards in a week's time. We're going to have fun putting this spoiler in, arent' we LUAD?
everyone ?
i work now 6 days a week due to this damn virus and getting all spoilers in this short time doesnt sound really enjoyable to me. there will probably be no excitement for this set from me at least.
Gavin did another video today and this time it looks like he is gonna talk to a member of the counsel of colors (the design team that figures out what each color can/can't/could do) with today being Jules Robins who is in charge of red. Nothing too big but at the end Jules says we will see a red card in Ikoria that will use botting (impulse draw) in a way that never been done before. https://twitter.com/GavinVerhey/status/1244667378786426880
Personally I've enjoyed seeing the different version they been doing so I'm curious about what this might do.

neat i always like hearing about that aspect of design. they've done a good job exploring more of what red can do in recent sets.
i wish they'd take a good hard look at white now and actually make the color do something more than situational everything as a purely support color. it has almost no identity any more with most of its old identity moved into other colors.

With how far ahead Wizards is working, we won't see anything for at least a year. The first attempts would also be bad, as seen with cards like Act on Impulse.

Absolutely true, but i'd like to see SOME progress instead of the bland approach that's gone on for years. I do think generous gift, cavalier of dawn and the birth of meletis are cards hinting at new, and necessary, directions for white so that's at least a positive trend

I think Wizards has known about white's situation for quite some time, so hopefully we'll be seeing advances much sooner than that. Arguably Smothering Tithe is one example already.
