I don’t know I find that -2 kinda cool I think the ultimate seems questionable though.

Embrace the dark you call a home,
Gaze upon an empty, white throne
A legacy of lies,
A familiar disguise
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone
There’s zero reason to think this is legit. Doesn’t work anything like previous iterations of Narset, doesn’t mesh with the set at all, doesn’t have an image, doesn’t have any source whatsoever.
If this is real the good thing is: tri colored walkers
But the card is bad imo, can fit on a UW splay R in standard, sure, but i doulbt it would see huge play before rotation.
I know that if this is real the guy who leaked didn't write the card as it will be printed, cause the seccond ability should state "up to one target creature or planeswalker" or make "another target creature or planeswalker" (or a you don't control at the end). Or it would he really bad if you got her out and want to draw into a land but seriously i can see they missing this and thus making her less playable.
The formatting of the name "Narset on Ikoria" just sounds wrong. The ultimate's wording is also wrong and should start with "Whenever" a la the wording of Chandra, Torch of Defiance's ultimate.
People keep saying that, but do we really now? Do we really think that Ikoria will be 100% creatures? Do we really think that UR o WU limited archetypes will be "play 25 creatures and no spells"? Do we really think that the commander decks Arcane Maelstrom and Timeless Wisdom will be creature-based?

Again, the formatting means nothing. It's not pic, it's a guy recalling a card from memory.
Still, this can totally be a fake, considering that there is no pic or whatsoever, just a guy speaking out of his ass

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

Actually you know what bring commander up deck it’s not like they making a commander playable Narset in either deck
"Narset on Ikoria" is one of the worst card names I've heard on a long time, and while I could shrug it off as some made-up card name by the leaker, I really doubt the name of all things would be the one information any leaker would be unsure of instead of, say, starting loyalty.
Additionally, I can't think of any story reason for Narset to be in Ikoria. We already know that Ikoria will feature, at the very least, Vivien and a new Planeswalker. She has no real ties with Vivien, and considering her spark ignited very recently in storyline years, it's unlikely she has any past with the new 'walker either, and I assume her ultimate goal of amassing knowledge would take her to other places before she would ever consider going to Big Monster World.
If we are basing anything off of the Commander 2020 deck names, which are set on Ikoria, they appear to be wedge colored. Narset could appear due to the potential of a Jeskai wedge here.
In addition, I think that it's important to remember it was not too long ago when Wizards tossed out Oko and made a planeswalker that was overpowered. Narset appears weak, but we are used to Oko.

It's obviously a filler name. I don't find it THAT hard to believe that they'd focus on memorizing the more important parts of the card.

She could be on there for any number of reasons. I don't think this argument really holds water either. Would Vraska be your first pick for "pirate world"? She doesn't really fit in thematically there, but planeswalkers can go wherever the hell they want.

Even if Ikoria is wedge based, that doesn't necessarily mean that the planeswalkers will be.
seeing Calix and Elspeth was
Amazing though and possible
Kiora in Zendikar are promising
I miss Jace. Vryn when
Yoda, is that really you?
Anyway. That first mana ability is good, but for a plane that's *supposed* to be creature-centric this seems rather counter-intuitive. This is assuming the abilities are indeed as listed. We are around four weeks until concrete reviews start, so these kind of loose leaks do make sense even if they seem far-fetched or out of place.

It’s not the first time we got a three color walker though if real anyway
This is the 11th one to be three color (well 6th if you exclude 5 bolas walkers)

Well yeah we've had a few but I was saying it's nice to see another one in a colour string we haven't seen yet. I was delighted to see all ten hybrid combinations for PWs in Spark, and I hope we'll get to see more tri-coloured PWs along the rest of the sequences that we haven't seen yet.

Commander decks will mirror Ikoria mechanics/draft archetypes to some extent.
Noncreature spells will do something in Ikoria. It won't be 100% creatures. There will be some spellslinging.
If Ikoria is really wedge based, i can totally believe that 1/5 of the wedges will be spell-based.

A discussion on a "card" that has absolutely zero evidence of being anything other than something I could post underneath this.

We've been through this before. The two most common ways information got leaked before was through leaked advertising (aka. what happens to almost every Planeswalker deck nowadays) or a product that got in the wrong hands way too soon (aka. Theros Beyond leaks). The first usually contains obscured and uncertain information, while the second usually contains pics. The only way I'd buy this was if the leaker got its hands on insider info from WotC playtesters, which afaik never happened before. We DID get accurate hints on future planes from insiders before, but this involves lots of other moving parts from third parties, like marketing and artists, while card design is strictly internal WotC business.
For me, the fact that the information is presented as accurate, including information that's usually obscured in marketing (bottom and top corners of a card, like casting cost or aforementioned starting loyalty), but the name is an obvious placeholder, is a huge red flag.
She could be on there for any number of reasons. I don't think this argument really holds water either. Would Vraska be your first pick for "pirate world"? She doesn't really fit in thematically there, but planeswalkers can go wherever the hell they want.
Once you add Jace as the secondary Planeswalker of the story... yes. Because Jace is literally the only other Planeswalker that we knew Vraska ever interacted with before Ixalan. In fact, once you remove the other major characters that already played a role in the story (Gatewatch, Tezzeret and Bolas) from the picture, Vraska would be my top shelf pick to "who should interact with a stranded Jace in this storyline?".
Comes online faster than Chandra, Torch of Defiance as well. As we are talking a -7 ult versus a -6 ult, both costing 4 mana, both with 4 loyalty. Only way Torch comes online sooner is with Acolyte.
Well it seems to stinky to be fake
But however On the fake side a non creature focused walker on a set that’s probably a set that might be somewhat of a love letter to “legions”
EDIT: potential point for team fake I just realize the ultimate may have Ben written wrong it’s would be written as
You get a emblem that saids “whenever you cast a noncreature spell deal 2 damage to any target”
Gaze upon an empty, white throne
A legacy of lies,
A familiar disguise
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone
Chandra, Torch of Defiance was amazing, not game breaking but amazing none the less.
This seems worse than her, due to the fact you have to splash 3 colours for her and the mana can only be used for noncreature spells.
"Earth!" shouts Nissa
"Fire!" shouts Chandra
"Wind!" shouts Jace
"Water!" shouts Kiora
"Heart!" shouts Gideon
"Go Multiverse!" shouts everyone combined
"By your powers combined, I am Captain Multiverse!" shouts Captain Multiverse

Not really feeling Ikoria with each reveal but w/e, I got what I like and looking really more toward Zendikar and Commander products.
