hm so Symbiotic Swarm or Enhanced Evolution will feature the new Ikora mechanic?
I can't believe that they will release 5 wedge Decks. I think at least 2 will be just two colored.
Arcane Maelstrom - Looks like Temur for sure.
Ruthless Regiment - Sounds like something with White (maybe Red or Black). A Boros Deck would be fun.
Symbiotic Swarm - I don't know why but Simic was the first think that come to my mind which would be a little strange with a Temur deck. Bant was done with Commander 2018 ans Sultai with Commander 2019. Could be Abzan.
Timeless Wisdom - Sound like something with Blue.
Enhanced Evolution - Is at least Green.
Rutless regiment has to be orzhov
Symbiotic swarm has to be either golgari or abzan.
Arcane is temur
Timeless has to be azorious
Enchanced evolution either simic or bant

Using Eldraine as a thought exercise:
1 deck has adventure
1 deck has adamant
1 deck has food
the 2 other decks can have enchantment/artifact matter, nonhuman tribal or knight tribal as a theme. Maybe even "whenever you draw your second card each turn" theme.
So... i guess that 2/3 decks will be keyword based, at least 1 will be tribal and 1 will be theme-based.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Honestly, I'm not sure if we'll get a keyword-based mechanic in the same sense as last year's commander decks. I think that keywords can be a solid secondary theme (like equipment in Arahbo) but it has been said that not too many cards from the main Ikiora set will be in these and even with 70+ new cards between these decks, it would be hard to turn Ability Word Counters (for example) into a compelling deck... instead of, say, a subtheme to a voltron deck. We'll probably get a commander to deal with these abilities, true, but I don't think it will be too focused on the abilities.
I thought the reason why the commander product is connected to a standard set was that we could get more card with specific set mechanic so we could build a commander deck around the mechanic? I could be wrong, though.
I don't think that we will get more than 2 Decks with a focus to a set-mechanic. My initial thought was just one deck with the new main mechanic (build your own monster thing).
Rutless regiment has to be orzhov
Symbiotic swarm has to be either golgari or abzan.
Arcane is temur
Timeless has to be azorious
Enchanced evolution either simic or bant
Good guesses. Just one problem: Red is underrepresented. Each color should be in at least 2 decks.

What part of no more color focus you don’t understand
But I can assure two of them are abzan and temur since those are the only 3 color combos left
But you want red
Change azorius jeskai and orzhov to mardu
But really remember marks words on they want atleast one five color legend during each standard wave legal for brawl we might get a five color legend in either this or the set
Red has been the most represented color with ever since they stopped doing things in cycles in 2017. All other have 7 besides green that has 6. I think red will be underrepresented no matter what. They still have to fill the gaps of 2color and 3 color decks plus a 5 color deck. There won't be another jeskai or mardu or bant(which i mistakenly wrote) till we get abzan temur azorious golgari gruul azorious dimir simic orzhov and the 5 color one

"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
Maybe it's just me, but "Symbiotic Swarm" gives me distinctly Sliver vibes, regardless of colors.
The name has me thinking Slivers too. And we know Wizards has no problem concentrating Slivers into 2-3 colors while leaving the other colors with only one Sliver representative.
They still care for color balance in products even if there are no cycles anymore. A color has to be present in at least 2 Decks. This was the case in prev years sets and is the reason why they are close together. I am not talking about color cycles.
Commander 2017 was the first one without color cycles because it was the first product with only 4 decks.
Decks per color: 3 White, 2 Blue, 3 Black, 3 Red and 2 Green
Commander 2018

Commander 2019
Decks per color: 2 White, 2 Blue, 2 Black, 3 Red and 2 Green
So never in the prev commander decks (without color cycles) were a color present in just one deck. And putting red in just one 3 color decks seems highly unfair and unlikely unless it is mostly red-centered.
I still think they're monocolor. They're meant to replace Planeswalker decks for the set, and they're mechanically tied to Ikoria. I don't think they're going to make these too complex.

There’s no way any of these will be monocolored
Besides wizards has ben focusing a little more on gold cards due to edh it started with war of the spark

Monocolor commander decks. Way to deliver a disappointing product

Where have they said this? As Im aware the planeswalker decks are moving to being core sets and this is the "yearly commander decks" we normally get in late summer/ fall just tied with a set this time.

Based on the names of two of them I definatly got it right on two of the decks being temur and abzan
And that’s the maelstrom deck and the either the symbolic swarm or ruthless regiment deck
Dunes of Zairo
SHANDALAR
Innistrad - The Darkest Night
~THE RAVNICAN CONSORTIUM~
A Community Set
Commander: Allies & Adversaries
|| UW Jace, Vyn's Prodigy UW || UG Kenessos, Priest of Thassa (feat. Arixmethes) UG ||
Cards I still want to see created:
|| Olantin, Lost City || Pavios and Thanasis || Choryu ||
The wedges do fit each name
I can tell in a heart beat I was right about atleast two deck colors will be temur and abzan
Honestly I feel like either the maelstrom or evolution deck will end up being five color or temur but anything is possible
Symbiotic is clearly abzan

I’m such a fool we all forgot 2 things
1 we can’t get sultai and jeskai because those were last year
Second, guys did you forget the 4-color combos those could be here despite the difficulty
And if 4 color is possible I can see them like this (this is as if they are all 4 color I know not all will)
BRGW Ruthless Regiment
UBRG Arcane Maelstrom (I think it will be temur though)
GWUB Symbiolic Swarm
WUBR Timeless Wisdom (plus it accured to me extra turn themed?)
RGWU Enhanced evolution (and this could be creature focused so animar, soul of elements and Mayael the Anima could work together)
There’s no way any of these will be monocolored
Besides wizards has ben focusing a little more on gold cards due to edh it started with war of the spark
Arcane Maelstrom is pretty clearly UR.
Symbiotic Swarm is likely to be BG, I think.
Timeless Wisdom could be either mono U or WU.
Enhanced Evolution sounds like it's either mono G or UG.
Honestly, most of these feel like they're ripped straight from the Ravnican guilds.

#BLM
#DefundThePolice
Enhanced Evolution
Bout time we get some Zerg decks.
Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest WUR Voltron Control
Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun WU Unblockable Mirror Trickery
Ra's al Ghul (Sidar Kondo) and Face-Down Ninjas
Brudiclad, Token Engineer
Vaevictis (VV2) the Dire Lantern
Rona, Disciple of Gix
Tiana the Auror
Hallar
Ulrich the Politician
Zur the Rebel
Scorpion, Locust, Scarab, Egyptian Gods
O-Kagachi, Mathas, Mairsil
"Non-Tribal" Tribal Generals, Eggs
But the slivers aren't symbiotic at all
