I'm a little surprised by the lack of shocklands in these. I didn't expect a full playset in each, but I was expecting one in each where it was possible. The red list seems like an odd place for Cavalcade, seeing as so few creatures can trigger it. Seems like they wanted a RDW list, but couldn't decide on what kind.
Other than that everything seems to be about the level these decks should be. I actually want to buy a couple of these, and the only one I wanted to get before these was the past RDW with Torch of Defiance (that was in one, right?)
Well the red deck is nice cause even if it is for a archetype that is not played much anymore the deck has lots of cards that can be played in a wide of red decks in standard. Fires is the only other deck i think they nailed it but the lack of at least 1 Teferi, Time Raveler is weird if you think they would not consider the values of cards they put in those... I mean, teferi sees play in almost all fires of invention lists that have white and blue, yet we have 4 narset and Kasmina in the main deck (i mean they are mostly sideboard card, with maybe 2 of them in main).
The inclusion of UG flash and BG adventures is nice but kinda sad (at least BG adventures can become a thing again after the rotation).
I wonder the data they use for those decks and wonder about the future-future league, making a UG deck with mostly close to rotation cards and not having at least 1 Nissa, Who Shakes the World or Hydroid Krasis or Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath in the deck as bait for other archetypes or just another win con is very lackluster. Yes i know they had a UG ramp in the Japanese exclusive challenger deck... But guess what? Imo UG ramp is not only a good deck but probably a better archetype than UG flash and yeah, after rotation UG flash is no more while UG ramp probably survives.
There’s war of the spark ashiok since that sees modern play
Kenrith the returned king
A play set of fervent champion and Runaway steam-kin

If you get all 4 decks you get 5 temple lands aka scry lands

I didn’t miss anything. You know what a highlight is? To begin with, I DID mention Embercleave. AMONG the highlights: Embercleave ($23), Passage ($14), Steam Vents ($11). Knight, Rider, and Torbran are $4, $5, and $3 cards respectively, regardless of quantity. There is a clear separation in monetary value between the three cards I mentioned and the three you mentioned.

while i like that they're putting more fabled passage and brazen borrowers out there i also don't. they're not that expensive and currently the only real reason to pick up those packs at all. its even more reason NOT to ever buy a pack. i'm getting fatigued by product bombardment, and frustrated at the complete destruction of any reason to ever pick up a pack.
yes, the argument will be buy singles. that's fine. i certainly do that, and have for a long time. there's more to it than that and it effects long term sustainability. if there's minimal to zero reason to open packs, limited suffers because it just isn't worth showing up or paying out for, random events suffer because the rewards just aren't worth it, attendance drops, the lgs suffers, the game starts to suffer.
we like to think its all end of the world cherry picked anecdotes and sky is falling unnecessary concern, but you can see it in attendance and sales. yes, magic does go through cycles like this where there's too much product and sets just aren't worth buying, and historically they've been good about correcting... but the emphasis has changed dramatically the past few sets.
i find it ironic that they made this huge push to make opening packs fun again, and its had the complete and total opposite effect.
i see a lot of emphasis on short term profit over sustainability and it has me genuinely worried for the future, for the first time in over 25 years playing this game.
I will be picking up the R and BG decks for sure. Maybe the UG one as well. They have solid value for $30 each (assuming the same as last years price).
Good to see some solid Pioneer play-ables in those 3. I am all for this product.
Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)

Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
They have solid value for $30 each (assuming the same as last years price).
There is no MSRP anymore, so the pricing will be variable, depending on what the distributors charge the stores. Big box stores are likely to have these for the lowest price possible. I would think pricing will be between $29.99 and $34.99, with a possible high price of $39.99.

I missed your embercleave but I call highlights if one of two apply or both
1 if valued near or above 4$
2 anything that’s playable in eternal formats (modern/pioneer/legacy/vintage/commander)

I only buy these from the box stores as the LGS near me likes to jack up the price. More than likely $30 each from WM and Target. We will see how greedy (or not) WotC is by what price gets charged at the box stores.

But Whatever i can't except much from wizards about what decks are better for standard, i mean, they printed Nissa, Who Shakes the World, Hydroid Krasis, Uro, titan of nature's wrath, Oko, Thief of crowns, Veil of Summer, brazen borrower and others in the same standard... they even make the surprized picachu's face when players complain about broken cards that they knew was broken from development lol

Yep I agree they did just as good as the first time they did during while amonkhet was in standard with the challenger decks
