How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

Yeah, most likely. And considering that both Augment and enchantments work in a similar fashion (aka. using one card to make creatures stronger), I wouldn't be surprised if Mutate also worked similarly.
As for the rest of the new cards, they are interesting but fairly tame. Syr Cadian, Knight Owl is a White legend, which is really all I need to say, but at least he has a fantastic name and cool art. Pippa, Duchess of Dice is borderline black-bordered, even tho I love the reminder text. Stet, Draconic Proofreader seems like a really fun card, but he's just sooo weak, which is a real shame, because he's also Boros, so no way I can make him work in Commander. Alexander Clamilton, Acornelia, Fashionable Filcher and Surgeon General Commander are the more interesting Legends in here, and even though none of them are doing anything really new in silver-border land, I can totally see people brewing Squirrel Tribal or Wordy Tribal EDH decks, for example.
Flavor Judge and B.O.B. are the two cards I really like here, and I do appreciate the throwback in Infernius Spawnington III too, even down to the "Demon" being errata'd to "Beast" (like in Infernal Spawn of Evil) and the "Beast" being errata'd to "Demon" (like in Infernal Spawn of Infernal Spawn of Evil).

I doubt it. Even though they're unstable cards, I feel like they still try to make the cards make sense with rules text. I would guess this is our new ability.
Mutate is probably the "build your kaiju" mechanic from ikoria. It is probably a keyword ability. Either it is predefined within the card or it is a add-on of other cards on the creatures (like an aura or equipment).
The whole family fits thematically in my Christmas deck, but Unglued didn't have foils and I've made the deck strictly 100% foil. I've got a foil Infernal Spawn of Infernal Spawn of Evil in the deck right now, but he misses his dad.
Does that further suggest that all the monsters in Ikoria are the result of a nuclear fallout, ala Godzilla?
Mutations can be natural.
Evolutionary-speaking, yes. But as an ability, in a game called Magic, surely it suggest something more rapid and transformative than evolutionary mutations. But blah blah, no way of knowing at this point.
Anyone knows the "msrp" for those decks? (i know they removed the term and price, but does anyone knows for how much the distributors are selling those?)
Wonder how they will handle Old Fogey. Would feel weird for him to get the new border. Would also like to see him become an Elder(ly) Dinosaur.
Part of the joke in Old Fogey in Unhinged was that he had the old cardframe, the summon - Elder(ly) Dinosaur would be cool but i think it will be a straight reprint. If they changed it imo they would put it into the article (for exemple Timmy that got new art and new text)
This lack of MSRP is really annoying. I want to know how much the set is to save up money but can't find a price.
As for the cards, there's definitely some fun stuff that will have to go in my Un-Cube. Don't need the reprints, but several of the new cards are slam dunks. And did I see Giant Teddy Bear tokens for Water Gun Balloon Game? I was planning to make custom ones but might not need to now.

Yes, casting costs or activated ability costs or triggered ability costs (such as Steamflogger Service Rep, although I think that's the only silver-border card with a triggered ability that has a mana cost, and it's generic so Underdome's colorless mana ability would work too)
Unsanctioned was fully spoilered at cracked.com of all places. Includes an interview with Mark Rosewater. Enjoy.

And mutate....there’s no way that’s not a hint to what the new mechanic from Ikoria is like
