Everytime another non token creature you control dies, you can exile it. If you do, create a 1/1 token that is a copy of that creature and it is a nightmare in addtion to it's other types

Looks like Ashiok's got their work cut out for them. Interesting take on the Soul Separator token. I wonder if that gets a token like the Stolen Identity tokens from the Dimir Guild Kit.
Short answer: not the way you want. The ability WILL go on the stack twice, but since you have to exile the card to get the rest of the effect, you will only be able to complete 1 trigger for 1 token.

That is a bit of a shame but I was thinking more along the death triggers get replaced by the exile effect.

I friggin love this card. Kinda sucks that it gets exiled but it also doesnt. In some black builds youre recurring stuff but in a lot youre not, at least not everything. This guy can be just SO much value. I mean, wood elves sac outlet this guy alone pushes you far ahead. Throw in yarok or panharmonicon and it gets nutty fast.
It's also a nice way to get extra use out of ETB effects on creatures. Cast Gray Merchant of Asphodel and get the drain effect, then sac him or let him die in combat to get the new token and a second drain effect for free.
speaking of value plays you can hard cast your elder titans with Shepherd on the battlefield get their evoke and then get a mini 1/1 titan . . . get their "evoke" trigger again and if they live get their attack trigger.
It doesn't specify non-token and tokens still die (and hit the yard) before ceasing to exist so you should be able to exile them and they just stop existing and you get a new token.
I love the design and the art of this card so much! Theros' enchantment demons are my favorite demons; prob something to do with the Nyx field in their wings lol

Incorrect. The token no longer exists when the trigger resolves.

The token will also sacrifice itself, so won't get to attack with it. You WILL get the ETB though.

Ah, Oops, but still pretty cool. They're good evoke triggers to begin with
I'm loving this card. I foresee a lot of ETB creatures getting sacrificed to this in the future. Plays nicely with Dictate of Erebos and is on theme to boot!
I'm impressed, this has to be one of the very few 4/4 fliers for 2XX in black with no downside, but additional upside. You usually see those in white (Indomitable Archangel) and blue. But I guess the time of demons being powerful but with downsides is long gone.

this card is CRAZY.
I'll be very surprised if it somehow doesn't help to define this standard.

Also it literally does specify non-token.
