Quote from Ritokure »Yeah, I'll have to agree, maybe we got spoiled with War of the Spark which had a fantastic story, but so far the story seems kind of a mess. I get that Klothys reappeared and that some titans escaped, but aside from that everything is kind of a blur. Still no real explanation on how Elspeth escaped herself, why the gods are electing demigods, how Calix was even created, and, most importantly, I don't have the slightest idea what is Ashiok doing in this whole story. There's still a bit of story left to go, so maybe we'll get there, but honestly, it seems too much stuff crammed into one place.
As for the card itself? S'cool. The real advantage is the fact it triggers on end step, I'd say that makes it even better than Colossal Majesty. Will be useful for Mono-Red/Boros EDH for sure, and the fact it's just an Uncommon means it'll be pretty cheap.

Quote from DJK3654 »Well, the lore here does specifically state that Xenagos took Klothys' place and didn't just become a god that happened to fill the same colours as the missing one, which implies that the Theros pantheon has some sense of filling in defined spaces.
