Legendary Creature - Satyr
Haste
Other Satyrs you control get +1/+1 and have haste.
Whenever you attack with three or more creatures, you may discard a card at random. If you do draw two cards.
2/2
Oh hey satyr tribal legend, always fun to see more tribal legends. Seems solid just as a hastey 2/2 for 2.

“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
Famed film and television composers get preview cards now? Prayer circle for Bear McCreary to get one.
The card itself is cool. The tribal aspect is obviously fairly weak given the currently low number of decent Satyrs to run. Even with the return to Theros giving us a handful more, it'll be tough to hit critical mass . That said, the second effect is great and I'll actually be keen to run it based on that. No one loves random discard, but with careful deckbuilding and gameplay choices, it'll be turned into a benefit more than a drawback. Recursion and flashback/madness will certainly help.
Which unless they go full-on with Satyr tribal, you are going to have a similar problem like Minotaurs or Scarecrows did for the longest time in which for years they barely had any presence. And right now? Scarecrows have better support than Minotaurs because they are artifacts with a tribal lord who can make strong use of them who is also 5-colors since day 1.

Also just realized, this is kind of a flavor fail. Centaurs, satyrs, elementals, humans, returned, and anything that is willing to join in on reveling are usually welcome. So her only boosting Satyrs kind of creates an exclusivity. As you really only see the non-Satyr portion in her second ability.
Which brings back to why boosting Satyrs only is kind of a bad idea. Like you can have your fun flavor cards, but as even a brawl legend, let alone EDH, you really don't have much to work with. She might as well be playing second-fiddle to Grand Warlord Radha.
To be honest, I love tribal the most when it's for more obscure creature types. I'm more excited to see how they build the archetype for a new tribe than to have to choke down yet more elves, goblins and zombies. Especially when you can play an immoderate amount of Magic on Arena and get sick to death of the same Ixalan vampire tribal deck that half of all players run.
Although Satyrs are pretty strictly just a Theros tribe, so there's not likely much support they'll ever have.

Which is most likely for this cards existence, unless they wanted to give up a commander slot, this is the only best to make this card.

to be honest, the satyr support thing isn't that important.
a 2/2 haste for 2 is already pretty good in a aggro shell and this one helps to keep the gas up and running for your aggro deck.
seems pretty legit for me.
Ah yes, the obligatory chaff-tribal rare. Getting Deja Vu over here from Pheres-Band Warchief.
Here is what separates the octopus/leviathan/sea-serpent/kraken tribal from these: It acknowledges it would be dumb to build off one tribe with low synergy. So you might as well consolidate them into one tribal group to maximize effectiveness. Quest for Ula's Temple, Slinn Voda, the Rising Deep, Whelming Wave, Serpent of Yawning Depths. Four cards for four tribes so far.
You know what would make this legendary be better? "Other Satyrs, Centaurs, and Minoatur creatures you control get +1/+1 and haste."
That way yo have a build around-me commander that provides a more interesting deckbuilding experience.
If you think she is good because of the loot ability, she is, but that is more a normal 60 card deck where you aren't constrained by 1-of nonsense which is where people's gripes seem to stem from more.

I think the idea is that no one can party quite like a satyr so she gives them haste and a boost. Even humans can’t keep up with her in the art so it makes sense

Yes, this exactly. Gallia may one day have enough usable Satyrs to head a tribal EDH deck, but that's probably years off if Theros remains the only setting where Satyrs are found. Supplemental sets may hasten that timetable, but I still think we're years out from Gallia having a healthy tribe of options.
Until then, she remains a hasty bear with a bonus upside. That's not nothing and I'm already planning on slotting her right into my Saskia "attacking matters" deck. The deck already has a legendary subtheme, and I'd like to find a place for Gallia in it already, let alone all the decks that will use her ability to refill your hand as the aggro engine slows. She isn't a bad card at all, just seems disappointing if all you're looking at her through is a tribal lens.
I actually think this is the best way to do tribal legends for more obscure types, tack a lord ability onto a legend with a separate ability that makes them useful both to their tribe as well as adjacent strategies. Like a Cephalid legend that cards about discarding cards or something.

Could easily see this fitting in a GR aggro/tempo shell in standard. Only one or two satyrs need to be playable for this to be pretty good when the rummaging ability is already solid. RG decks having been playing Zhur-Taa Goblin after all. The discard could also synergize with Klothys, all the new Escape cards, Cavalier of Thorns and Cavalier of Flame, Elvish Reclaimer, among other potential includes.
They printed Robber of the Rich recently, at mythic rare. And this powerful lord is legendary. To me, it's 2 hints that there's gonna be playable satyrs to support the lord. It's great if one of those is a (mythic) rare 3-drop ala Steel Leaf Champion or Gruul Spellbreaker. It would make the curve pretty competitive.

I wouldn't hold my breath on it: Satyr seems like a pretty "slim" creature type, so a 3 CMC creature with stats above the traditional line shouldn't be its typical space, and now we should get Minotaurs in Gruul colors, too, so if a big creature is coming it's quite unlikely that it will be a Satyr. Gallia should be the indicator for a whack aggro archetype though...

Xenagos, the reveler is the way.
Looks like the reaper king is not the only tribe legend that has almost nothing but bad choices for creatures besides changelings now
But that second part is fantastic for agro edh

Eh, it's a 2/2 efficiently-costed (legendary) lord with a cool built-in support ability for a particular type.
EDIT: Ahh dang. I just noticed it's legendary. Well that kills the mood. Party-pooper.
Thank U, next!
