Are these not foil? If so, that seems like a step in the right direction for the Planeswalker Deck PWs.
They are it doesn’t have the number of cards and above the number in the set
No, what I meant was that it doesn't have the star next to its collector number like foils do (it just has the bullet). However, I completely forgot that non-foils of PW Deck cards exist in collectors packs, so the point is moot.
I do wish they would retroactively print some of the older Planeswalker Deck PWs as non-foils.

That's a very disappointing Elspeth. The original nissa didn't work that well in zendikar let alone keep value after. I really hope this is the deck one.

That ability to search for Sunlit Hoplite reminds me of Nissa v.1, though given it's a precon card it might not be too powerful. Then again, it's a minus ability, so it might?
I've yet to see an Ashiok PW I don't like in some degree. Terrifying character...

Is this Ashiok only the second regular (i.e. not WAR weirdness) planeswalker we've had where they can only use one of their loyalty abilities the turn they enter (the other of course being Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer)?

Seems like it. Not seeing any other deviations from the design they had. It seems like they want most planeswalkers that aren't the WAR-varients to have multiple options of plus, neutral, or minus the same turn they are played. A lot of them also seem to have also a third ability with a minus that is just 1-3 turns away from going off. There is a small deviation of another type where they can activate any of their abilities the turn they are played.
