Is it just those 3 (surprised morophon wasn’t in it.)
Just look
OMG.... it’s gone from bad to worse
Not only it’s only 24 hours There’s only 10 available per customer for each one
Idk why someone would ever want to buy more than 10 of anyofthose there is a limit of how many variations of the same UR dragon commander deck you can build.
Expect the ones people are most hyped about to be the ones with the most price drop on the secondary market.
Magic Players: "Magic is too expensive! Screw R&D. Screw MaRo. Screw Hasbro."
Also Magic Players: "Man, I just can't wait to buy all of these fancy foil cards that I already own regular copies of."
And on and on it goes...
1- those are usually two different players.
2- you have been playing long enough to build a cube, so I just take it for granted that you can appreciate the difference between 'I have money and want the most blinged version of a card, I am totally fine with it being expensive' and 'the ZEN fetches are not on any reserved list, but are not reprinted to the point where they are all very expensive and the EDH deck I am building around the CHEAPEST fair condition copy of Ur-Dragon is strictly worse than it would be if i had access to 10 fetches.
I think it was TCC that did a very good video on it. absolutely have a beautiful blinged version of the card available for the people looking to pimp out a deck and happy to spend the money to do so. but also have a cheap version with much worse art and nothing remarkable about it for the people who just want A version to play with. I play against a guy every week with Masterpieces and Expeditions, good for him. if I had access to a Scalding Tarn with the wrong border for a land, and a dog drwn with a Sharpie as the art for $10, i would be delighted because they play exactly the same

because i know the collectors and get rich quick people who try to buy out all of them is why i said that but luckly wizards prevents that from happening as best as possible
I just wanted to point out the current cheapest near-mint/mint Sliver Overlord is a nonfoil Scourge Sliver Overlord, which goes for around $35 or so, so you are getting bang for your buck with the Kaleidoscope Killers box.

yea thats one of the reasons this is the only one of the seven im interested in
and i should point out another thing reaper king if all are in fact foil a the foil version of reaper king 80$
and sliver overlord foils are 95$
so easily the best one of the 7 is kaleidoscope killers

Snow-covered Eldraine basics. Considering you only get 1-of each, and there is a limit of 10 per person, you can only get 10x of each snow-covered basic with this new art for $299.90.
Even if you were just aiming for 20 of each basic, that is still $599.80, split between two accounts, which likely involves paying shipping costs twice.
Primary reasons:
1) Uniform lands
2) Bling
3) You just really liked Thrones of Eldraine and want to do some GoT deck
4) You need this for multiple decks
5) You need this for a cube
6) Mix of the above

If you would buy 20 foil snow-covered basic lands today you would spend more than the value the 20 kits or secret lair would cost and as a plus each one of the kits come with a "Free" deck box that looks like the right size to storage a commander deck...
I mean, it is not for everyone, it is not like the collector's boxes were for the casual players too
And, if someone thinks it is expensive to buy each card they want from wizards then i m sure that player can go on the seccondary market and buy the cards they want for a relative small price after those products are released.
The primary focus of this product is not the same player base that buys 1-3 commander deck each year but instead the people that buy more than 1 case of those products. There will be investors buying off those products and after some years people (the casual players) will wonder "why didn't i bought this?"... This is a cycle on every MTG player' life.
Just keeping things in mind: right now graveyard strategies are not the big thing in modern soo Bloodghast and life from the loan went down in price. Early this year both cards sold for $20 each on minimum. And we don't know when graveyard strategies will become the must go again neither when and if those cards will get reprinted in the next 5 years... BitterBlossom is being sold for about $40 (near mint) on some places. Serum Visions is a staple in some formats, the kit comes with 4 diferent arts soo people can choose the one they preffer and will use. Those kits + the land one + 5 color legends are the ones worth buying today.
If people go all win for exemple on the 5 color legendary each of the cards will lose value. Slivers got value after modern horizons created a demand, legions and the premium decks are low printing comparated to any new set soo the hive lord got inflated. The same is true for Reaper king and the Ur-Dragon... The demand for those cards are too specific (one singleton format) soo once copies start to flood the market prices will go way down... Why i said all this? Simple: do not evaluate the "wothness" of this product based on today's market prices will gonna drop or hise with time.
Not every product is for everybody, this is for collectors and speculators (most of those).
Now for the lands: if you realy want to pimp your deck with those it is way easier to buy the ones you need from the seccondary market once people start to scalp those boxes. You will pay probably less (than buying one kit for each plains or island, etc) and will not pick a free deck box, simple.
When wizards did from the vaults players didn't go buy 4 boxes to make a playset (at least not all players), people don't do monocolored decks or decks with more than one colors with just basic lands, if they have the money to pimp their deck then they have the money to buy duals and utility nonbasic lands

I was excited for every one of these until I realized they're not all foil. Maybe the rainbow one but I'm not sure I care about blinging out the commanders of the two most boring commander decks I own.
I hope they “reserve list” the artworks for each card in the 7 boxes. I’m no where near a prospecting collector that’s just going to sit on the Kaleidoscope Killers box and flip it later, but it would be a *****ty deal that they would charge $30 or $40 for a limited special edition box of 3-5 cards and then turn around and make those artworks available somewhere else down the line. I’m going to make use of one of those cards in a blinged out kitchen top deck.

So far they reprinted almost all the promo artworks, so thats not going to happen.
If they need artwork, they fallback to the latest one almost all the time (Commander products etc.).
They even reprinted Judge Promo Foils and the like, so they have absolutely no pity at all.

No way any of these arts are going to be reprinted. Secret Lair arts are so off from their usual art style, which is exactly why they're here. I can see an argument for reuse as judge foils, but that's it.
I'm down for the cat box for sure, but the snow lands one pisses me off. I mean, I'm the guy that bought a box of Modern Horizons (and continues to buy MH boosters at the local hobby store) because I wanted the snow stuff so much, but just five foil basics for that much? Absolutely terrible.
I wish I could say this will fail, but there's going to be enough people buying things like that Bitterblossom box that WOTC will just recalibrate for the next batch and keep going.
Though, maybe we'll finally get the stained glass planesalker artworks, or even the anime ones in English.

In their defense, $6 apiece isn't a bad price for alt art foil snow lands. While they may not look flashy, I would guess that those lands will be one of the better investments out of the entire lot.
