Here's one of the strangest Oracle updates to date. The Grand Calcutron was intended to be playable as your commander for an Order of the Widget silver-bordered Commander deck. One glance at the text box says there's no way "The Grand Calcutron can be your commander" would fit on the printed card. The initial solution was to just say that this is true in its Gatherer rulings, but that's more arbitrary than we like Gatherer rulings to be. So, this is not what we would ever do with black-border cards, but for silver-border, we decided to add the ability in Oracle so that the ruling isn't entirely baffling. Though maybe baffling would be more appropriate for the Order of the Widget . . .
Again, please note that this is not something we intend to do in black-border Magic. We recognize that this is a fairly extreme change to the card text, and even then, it's only happening because the "can be your commander" ruling has existed for the card's entire life. Sorry, Nephilim.
Basicly it means grand calcutron can be the commander in edh now

THIS-SPELLING THE MYTHS (NON-FUNCTIONAL)
A number of cards that care about what mana was spent to cast that card or what cost was paid to cast it have changed to use "this spell" instead of the card's own name. I wouldn't even mention it here except to point out that none of these changes are functional changes, so don't worry if you see it.
EAT YOUR VEGGIES (NON-FUNCTIONAL)
Three cards in Throne of Eldraine leave off their Food reminder text so they can fit within the text box, but they regain it in Oracle to be helpful. Oko, Thief of Crowns, who is a planeswalker; Curious Pair, who has an Adventure; and Feasting Troll King, who just has a ton of other words. Your printed card isn't wrong, this is just in Oracle for easy reference if someone goes to look up what a Food token is.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Well alot of Cephalid love on the inclusion of the noble subtype. Hope they reprint those errated cards just to show some love for the race, maybe commander 2020 will be tribal and there is a mono blue Cephalid deck.

Yea I noticed that too
Who knows maybe we will se the cephalids again someday
But problem with your tribal return as a tribal theory there’s only 15 cephalids ever printed so almost all the new cards would have to be cephalids just to fill that deck
Though I do hope we get tribal again next year I want them to do a real 5-color spirit tribal ever since I saw a poorly made O-kagachi
All those that have previous type as lords should have been noble same with Darien, King of Kjeldor
true, also would be nice to have lord of Atlantis. The card has soo few recent printings that would not hurt to add it to it and maybe reprint it in the near future ( with new art)
WTF! Why didn't Noble Hierarch gain the noble type? She is a hierarch... she is a noble... but she isn't noble at the same time. Com'on, Wizards, you should be kidding us.

In this case, I think noble refers to her being honourable and not someone with a nobility title.

Sorry for my possible english mistakes, I'm not a native speaker.
WTF! Why didn't Noble Hierarch gain the noble type? She is a hierarch... she is a noble... but she isn't noble at the same time. Com'on, Wizards, you should be kidding us.
Because the word noble has two meanings and this is likely to be the second (it means aristocrat as a noun or very moral/fine personal qualities as an adjective). Thus, she is noble, but not a noble...

Hierarch is a "chief priest, archbishop, or other leader."
Noble, in this sense, means "having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles and ideals."
As someone who theorycrafted a Kinjalli's Caller -> Phyrexian Soulgorger -> Lingering Souls deck during the Ixalan preview season, and was hideously disappointed that it couldn't come to fruition when they left Dinosaur off the middle's typeline (despite the art):
I wish Wizards would be more adventurous with these changes, as well as with creature types in general. The fact that Phylactery Lich isn't a Wizard, (though Dralnu, Lich Lord is, for example,) is a travesty to me. On the other side of things, did Anarchist really have to be a Wizard instead of a Rebel? And don't get me started on Yavimaya Enchantress.
It's also weird to me that they haven't added Merchant yet. Seeing "Human" all by its lonesome on a typeline has always felt weird to me, but—seeing as how Peasant seems to have replaced Citizen/Townsfolk—between that, Noble, and Merchant, I think pretty much all of them would be covered.
That bit with the Grand Calcutron just reinforces my belief that WOTC needs to come up with a symbol that means "this card can be your commander". Would also help for planeswalkers who don't otherwise have the space.

Noble, in this sense, means "having or showing fine personal qualities or high moral principles and ideals."
So she is a priestess with high moral principles.
