Quote from Ryperior74 »Oh those stupid idiots Haven’t they learned from the mythic editions in all 3 ravnica sets
Quote from Mishotem »Why do they keep doing this?
Quote from leslak »Imsgine if they had made a special foil version of any of these: Mana Echoes any of the tutors, Amulet of Vigor, Prismatic Omen, Rhystic Study, etc the inclusion of a promo that is only available by the box would make those sell really fast.
Quote from leslak »Quote from Ryperior74 »Oh those stupid idiots Haven’t they learned from the mythic editions in all 3 ravnica sets They haven't otherwise they would just have collector's boosters on this and on a very limited collector's booster boxes. At least people can buy those boosters, open in other products, etc. But imo if they had included some masterpieces on this Deluxe Edition then the product would sell easy... Quote from Necr0maNc3R »In the collectors boosters, is it possible for the extended art cards to be foil? Or are they all nonfoil?
Quote from WarMachinePrime »I was saying the same thing a couple of months ago in this thread, past post #88 and had members jumping down my throat. https://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/magic-fundamentals/the-rumor-mill/812585-major-changes-to-magic-announced-at-sdcc-new Again, I won't be touching this product unless it is a free throw in.
Quote from ilovesaprolings »Yeah... how much a single collector booster is worth? 20$? 25? Here in Europe they are around 20€ now, so this seem grossly overpriced
Quote from BlazingRagnarok » That being said, $450 is a monstrous price. It isn't hurting anybody for existing, though, so I don't see much need to get worked up over a product I'll never buy.

Maybe not today but I tell you with the direction of the "specialty" products that it could be harmful later on. Just like loot boxes in video games, they weren't hurting anybody at first but eventually it became a necessity to play games to compete. I could see WoTC sneaking in playable cards only obtainable in these specialty products. I hope not but with how much WoTC is digging into the pockets, it wouldn't surprise me.
