I am somewhat shocked they printed this artwork.

Positively surprised to get that kind of variety.

Really cool art. It's nice seeing a different art style than just more random concept art looking stuff.

But why are people making a big deal about this card? We have had torpor orb creatures for a while now, and the one rotating out doesn't even die to shock.

Like the lips in the background. Don't care for the rings of lips surrounding her. As for the actual card, an interesting hatebear to be sure, have to see if it's relevant to what ends up being popular though.

I consider this quite an improvement compared to Tocatli Honor Guard. It trades one point of toughness for flying, lifelink and preventing death triggers.

Was just going to google what "lip fetish" was called, but then remembered I am at work and probably shouldn't.

Wikipedia doesn't have a word for lip fetish, but it would be a form of partialism, which is fetishizing a specific body part.

Very cool art, we've complained about boring, "photoshop" art for so long, I'm glad they're finally expanding their range.
