A better Terramorphic Expanse/Evolving Wilds. Not any better early game, but fine later. I plan on running this in Commander for sure. Wish it was uncommon, though.
Vista is modern power level, this is standard power level.
This is my thought, its a weaker (read cheaper) version of Vista thus more accessible.

Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)

Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Everyone is gonna want to buy these for standard. By making it a rare, they can drive the price up.
And edh defiantly a budget alternative to prismatic vista players thought that was gonna be budget fetchlands but that shot to 20$ more money than anticipated when it was first revealed
If 4-5 color snow ever really makes it's place in the format this will very likely be taken over traditional fetches. I could see it being an uncommon, but I think the set was a little light on must have rares up until this point so meh.
It's vastly better than Evolving Wilds, of course. In decks that don't play 1-drops there is basically no tempo-loss playing Fabled Passage. Also, drawing multiples is also less awkward.
Feels like a missed opportunity, I can see them wanting to sell packs via the rarity but if they are wanting to push brawl they could have easily let this be a staple to help multicolor commanders

No no no no
Vista gets it in untapped without the needing of atleast 3 lands vista is way better than this
Anyway definatly putting money down that this becomes a forever staple in edh decks above 2 colors

Anyway, a slightly better evolving wilds... might be usable in certain decks.

The exact same thing would apply to Evolving Wilds in that case...

Except for drawing Evolving Wilds late game?
Except this example is pretty clearly not about late game.
