Oh nice, we get Phantoms back in Magic! Don't forget that if you slap a toughness boosting aura/equipment on this guy, he's sorta indestructible - even with 0 counters on him he still gets the buff from the aura.

This guy specifically takes away that loophole, requiring a counter for the damage prevention

Oh look! Its the MtG version of that 'friend' we all have that insists we hit 'just one more bar' because he's 'got a couple shots left in him' even tho he's falling down drunk. Love that guy.
(Red: attack every turn, hydra: prevent damage, lose head counter.)
Not necessarily. While it's also in green, Phantom Nantuko, Phantom Nishoba, and a little less similarly, Undergrowth Champion share the ability. I think it would have made a little more sense for it to be a spirit but I'm okay with the design.

Protection from reason (Decadent_Creed can't be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, or enchanted by reason.)
I'm amazed "oathsworn knight" is not an already used card name. Slightly bothered it wasn't reserved for a white knight. Though it does add a little bit to the flavor of Eldraine black knights.
Embrace the dark you call a home,
Gaze upon an empty, white throne
A legacy of lies,
A familiar disguise
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone
Well it is easy to understand why they choose to go with this tamplete instead of the one on Phantons from judgement:
-Any way to increasse its toughtness would make it "invencible" (equipments, Garruk, Cursed Huntsman ,,,)
-Undergrowth Champion had alread updatedtoe;
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
This is so saddening there’s nothing to keep its counters up in throne of eldraine so far
Oh almost forgot reminds me of this by far https://youtu.be/3xYXUeSmb-Y

Oathsworn Knight: I'm aggressively guarding this cave.

I'd say the Monty Python Black Knight was plenty aggressive, since he expressed a desire to "bite your legs off" even after losing all his limbs.
