Sorry. Trying to screen cap the MtG Arena client. A new update just dropped and you can pre-order the Throne of Eldraine bundle to get a Gingerbread Princess exquisite card back and the card style for Garruk, Cursed Huntsman. He reads as follows:
Garruk, Cursed Huntsman 4BG
Planeswalker - Garruk
{0}: Create two 2/2 black and green Wolf creature tokens with "When this creature dies, put a loyalty counter on each Garruk you control."
{-3}: Destroy target creature. Draw a card.
{-6}: You get an emblem with "Creatures you control get +3/+3 and trample."
{5}
He seems really strong just for the token generator, but notably he cannot ultimate without Proliferate or a Wolf dying.
UPDATE: Have to reinstall NVidia Geforce to get Screen Cap, CUDA install broke it the other day. Will have a screenshot up as soon as I can.
Somebody correct me if I’m wrong but Rosewater said there were only three planeswalkers in the set. I guess maybe he wasn’t counting the BaB promo or something?

He's definitely the kind of guy who thinks picayune crap like that is the height of clever.

As some have said: Garruk can be a Brawl commander or Will can be a Brawl commander. And again Rosewater said that will and Rowan are in the set, confirming Rowan is one of the walkers of the set, but never said Will would appear as a walker (could be the big bad wolf as people had speculated).
number of the "masterpiece" is 270 and they have said walkers of the walker decks and brawl decks exclusive cards would be on the collector's boosters. Imo he is a brawl deck commander cause his ult looks broken in the 3 bears +1 1/2 for 5GGG limited.

Ha, I'd be interested in seeing the theory where he is the big bad wolf!

I don't see the work to make him ult as a drawback. If wolves are not dying, that usually means that their creatures are dying or you are getting in damage. unless they are playing a Defenders deck that can keep up with 2 new tokens a turn, there is no way you are not getting value

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Somebody correct me if I’m wrong but Rosewater said there were only three planeswalkers in the set. I guess maybe he wasn’t counting the BaB promo or something?
More wolf tribal support...I feel they're almost a thing...Tolsimir, Arlinn, now Garruk...like I want to build it, but the power is just not where I'd want it...plus having to do 3 color is not something I want to do for something that's not quite there...could be fun though. What other wolf stuff might we get here? If I pull him I might build it, otherwise, not going out my way.
Hmm...looking over the possibilities again, if I can get Garruk I might just build this wolf tribal they've been silently pushing...drop Arlinn, make wolf token, drop Tolsimir, make Voja (w/ counter from Arlinn), gain 3 life from Tolsimir, make wolf token w/ Arlinn (w/ counter from her), gain 3 life from Tolsimir, drop Garruk, make 2 wolves (each with counter from Arlinn), gain 6 life from Tolsimir, have Garruk's wolves fight opponent's creatures using Tolsimir's other ability, they die and give Garruk loyalty counters, Garruk's ultimate following turn along with another wolf from Arlinn...its got potential, just need the rest of the build around for three color WBG...I imagine there will be a few more wolves in this set, maybe even a legendary.
This all sounds like Maro. Claims there will only be three walkers and states Will, Rowan, and Oko are all in the set. Makes Will and Rowan an Izzet PW (his favorite guild) and Garruk is in.
Wait...is Garruk playing the role of the Huntsman from Snow White?

I agree. I was just stating it so it was more obvious.
he seems very strong, the emblem is solid, the minus is solid, the wolves say deal with us and garruk isn't going anywhere soon, and in those colors its easy to put excessive counters on him
Just saw the set trailer, which features Garruk. Um...wow.
First off, the visuals are absolutely beautiful. The gingerbread cookies look like they came right out of a Pixar film, complete with love song. I'm astonished at how well they're animated. And suddenly Garruk storms the castle and gets in a fight with the guards, and the poor cookies are looking for a place to hide or maybe escape. They find themselved trapped between a pot full of boiling orange fluid and a milk jar that shatters, leaving them dangling precariously over the edge. Garruk's axe comes down, separating the two cookies, and the female falls into the pot, seemingly dead. Garruk grabs the male cookie and bites his head off. Yes, Garruk is seriously eating a gingerbread cookie in a MtG trailer. Even the big bad huntsman loves him some home-baked sweets. Then we see that the female cookie survived...and she is MAD. She grabs a fork and leaps at Garruk, intent on putting an eye out. Yes, Garruk seriously has a cartoony gingerbread woman out for his blood because he ate her boyfriend.
I don't even know what to say to all this. It's so well animated and deranged and sad and hilarious and...WHAT THE FUNKY MONKEY DID I JUST WATCH?

Looks strong and quite comparable to Ugin as both are 6 CMC walkers that act as token makers and removal. Ugin is much more versatile with it's static ability, no color requirements and being able to remove any non-colored permanent. Garruk makes two tokens per turn and have a proper ultimate, so he is better both at finishing games and protecting himself.
But wait I thought Garruk was in sensitively training for being a toxic male? :roll eyes:
Seems powerful tbh. The wolves protect him, if they die he get loyalty if they live you start building board presents. And thanks t o proliferate plenty of way to keep your wolves and build Garruk up. Also wonder if there is a Garruk tribal deck you can run with them. What good last BG version of Garruk.

What I just realised is the following:
Play him, create two wolves, sac them and get him to survive one round, after that he will produce 5/5 wolves with trample.
I‘m not the standard player but this seems really strong for any sacrifice oriented EDH deck...

He might have been referring to 3 planeswalker cards, as will and Rowan seem to be sharing a single card if this leak is to be believed:

He’s literally in the boosters not a promo of any sort
What we are looking at is the full frame version like they are talking about in those special boosters
So the number is probably for the special boosters
