And for the last Weatherlight Saga character, we have...
Greven, Predator Captain 3BR
Legendary Creature- Human Warrior
Menace
Greven, Predator Captain gets +X/+0, where X is the amount of life you've lost this turn.
Whenever Greven attacks, you may sacrifice another creature. If you do, you draw cards equal to that creature's power and you lose life equal to that creature's toughness.
5/5
Well that is good build around and flavorfull Diabolic Edict(poor Vhati Il-Dal) I like that Hatred is a win con with hin (not only with commander damage but also with total damage... if you pay 8 life he is a 21/5 lol).
I hope they keep remaking old legendaries in those Modern Horizons+commander decks, and i hope they put some of those redesings in modern horizons or maybe (in the future) in a Braw deck from a core set...
Soo far i didn't liked some of the reprints and the lack of alot of the key cards for the themes, but i have to give credits for those new commanders and cards in general.
I dont recall how it goes this year, but I'm really hoping this is a foil... or has a foil at some point. The art on the Weatherlight characters would pop in foil. Especially this and the new Gerrard art
I'm getting a lot of brew inspiration with the new RB legends in C19. Glad the alternate tri-color commanders and the ancillary legends aren't as narrow as the flagship legends.
I'm not at all bothered by WoTC's revisiting old cards from an era and just slapping the effect on a new imagining of a related legend from that era. It feels refreshing actually. I'm liking the idea of a creature in play having abilities that used to be on enchantments or spells.
I am so glad that WoTC is using the Commmander product in this way of revisiting old legends. Now let's get onto making Hypnox a legend and we'll be good! We need more nightmare horror legends. I want nightmare and horror tribal by now! lol
I have wanted them to touch on old legends and creatures that never got cards for ages. Still waiting on a few others like Ashnod and Fix.
But seeing remakes of 15 year old cards is amazing. I don't know what else they could do outside of the Weatherlight to keep up the trend but I am hopeful

Weirdly, if they follow the general convention for foils, Greven will be foiled but Gerrard will not.
Par for the course back then. Easy to have that take with 20/20 hindsight. But, they kept him mostly intact from his original printing. Hard to block- Fear to Menace. He was slightly above curve for P/T which made the mandatory sac. necessary(for the times), but now we have a mandatory sac(downside)its a May ability, so all upside I guess, with profit on an above curve body.
I honestly must say, he’s pretty much perfect. Far and away my favorite.
Unfortunately, this Greven can't be played in a Volrath Commander deck. But you can play Moggs in this Greven's Commander deck.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Wait - "Graven"? Uh, someone needs to fix the card database.

Yeah, but he was still Volrath's [beeble] during Tempest and part of Nemesis.
