I can see the hillarity of a naya evasion/pillowfort deck that plays a lot like Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, Sygg, River cutthroat or Edric, Spymaster of Trest. There aren't as many straight unblockable dudes as blue but this seems like a general ripe for playing against type and I love it. Also seems like it'd be able to close out games better than the blue commanders I mentioned.
This is what Thantis the Warweaver should have been. Damn this card is cool. I love that you can just force everyone to go to war and stop people from just hanging back and waiting to combo off.
I was hoping for Zaliki, but Marisi is dead so this is really the only place to card him. I can finally build Naya Cats after a decade of waiting for a legend though!
LOVE the ability. Disrupt Decorum is so much fun, and this is repeatable. Would have been totally busted with blue (all the unblockable creatures), but I imagine flyers and trample will do the trick, maybe some theft for red. I'm going to have to brew something up with this.
"I'll send this at you, and this at you, and this at you."
"Uh, we can't block."
"Sweet! Just attack each other for me, won't you? I'm gonna just sit back and eat some chips."
A Naya Cat Legend! Yes! Granted, I think Marisi is a bit of a weird choice for a part-white legend, but at least he's literally a Naya Cat. And he's a Warrior to boot, so he's also good for Warrior tribal decks. The Populate deck is definitely shaping up to be my favorite this year.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I know this came out a few days ago but I'm trying to build a deck around him. I have put Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist and other cards that focus on effecting combat but anyone got some good cards that would help when my opponents attack each other? I don't just want them to take each other out but to benefit off it as well. I know there are some curses that could help in that aspect but any help or advice I could get would be nice.

What are your thoughts about adding Nahiri, Storm of Stone , Samut, Tyrant Smasher , Ilharg, the Raze-Boar from the play testing I have done they help quite a bit especially with Nahiri giving everything first strike. Makes it so that even if they can block they might not want to. Another card that might help would be Storm the Citadel forcing your opponents to block unless they want to loose everything. Heck even Ajani, the Greathearted could help, his abilities might not really contribute that much but giving everything vigilance can keep you safe if you swing all out but are not able to take out certain players and those pesky Ghostly Prison like cards but those are just my thoughts and you have other ideas I'd love to hear them.

My thoughts: Nahiri, Storm of Stone - Not really a fan. There are better ways to do this that don't involve a planeswalker with no plus ability - Archetype of Courage, Knighthood, and Valor all come to mind. Samut, Tyrant Smasher - Again, not a fan of no plus ability, but the haste is more relevant than first strike for keeping people goaded (I like creatures they can't block, so first strike isn't as important as hitting them). Scry could come in handy, but you don't want to do it too often. Ilharg, the Raze-Boar - Ilharg is interesting. Usually used for cheating big fatties into combat, though my list will have a lot more cheap creatures. He does help keep you from overcommitting to the board. I probably won't run him in my build. Storm the Citadel - Ok, I like this one. Hadn't thought of it before, but I need a copy for my build. With the evasive creatures I run, it hould be quite effective at punching for extra damage and clearing out problem permanents. Ajani, the Greathearted - I'm not too concerned with getting hit on the crackback, as my creatures will be evasive and will goad their cretures. I will be running some fog effects for when it gets down to just me and my last opponent.
Blade of Selves makes it easy to goad all opponents at once. Of course, if you want to be really mean, you can just Insurrection your opponents' creatures.

Blade of Selves makes it easy to goad all opponents at once. Of course, if you want to be really mean, you can just Insurrection your opponents' creatures.
Insurrection is no better, and potentially worse, in this deck than most. If you steal everything and actually kill everyone else, great - it functioned the same as in any other deck. But if you don't kill them, it actually counteracts Marisi's ablity. It says "goad each creature that player controls," but if you control their creatures, nothing gets goaded. When the Insurrection wears off, any opponents still alive are going to be out for blood, and, most importantly, you will have given them the opening by not goading their creatures.
Okay thank you for the advice but I'm still iffy about how I want to go. Do I go wide with a bunch of little creatures that they will need a lot of blockers for or do I go with less creatures but higher power and trample or the like. I can see both styles working very well but I can also see the downside of both. With more little creatures they would be easily removed due to board wipes and the like. But with bigger creatures I would be slower and would have less blockers if I needed them.
Why stick to just one? Your deck's supposed to have a good mana curve, so you want a mix of the two. I got some suggestions:
Odric is a backbreaker in Marisi's deck. As long as you're attacking with at least four creatures, they're effectively unblockable. And since you want to swing at as many opponents at a time as possible, you'll also want Adriana for her field-wide Melee perk. Note though that tokens created by Myriad don't get buffed by Melee as the window for Melee triggering has already passed by the time they enter the battlefield.

People brew decks for newly revealed legends all the time. We're talking about cards that work well with Marisi. And if you feel we are off topic, how about you report it to a mod instead and they can set us straight?

Give Zaliki a CardI must have all the cats!
So he's the one from Marisi's Twinclaws.
Also, Empire of the Clouds? That's the final track off of Iron Maiden's "The Book of Souls"...

What Red Cats really merit playing?

Some of my favorites include:
Crescendo of War - really speeds up the clock as they keep smashing into each other.
Fight to the Death - A mini-board wipe that doesn't affect you.
Berserk and Blood Frenzy - Can be used to pump and then remove a goaded creature for maximum value.
Beast Within and Generous Gift - Remove problem permanents (like Ghostly Prison) while giving them another creature that has to swing.
