Sun Titan is a “biggest highlight”? The card has EIGHT prior printings, with your choice of three arts and is a $4 card. Not denying the quality of the card, but rather the merits of it being considered a good reprint.

I love the card mechanically, but also hot damn is that some spicy art. She is not messing around. Glad to have a jeskai monk who isn't obnoxious format-cancer.
Hmmmmm, I'm glad I held off on buying Kykar, Wind's Fury this deck gave me 2 potential Jeskai pillowfort generals and I don't know who I'll want to use to lead that build.

Oh yes, THAT one.
Turning top card into flash tech enables a lot of tricks. I’m gonna build a totem armor enchantress with this one coupling with the Heliod land. (I refuse to spell out that name).

Your kidding right it’s almost impossible to not spot a sun titan in any deck involving white this makes it easier for newer and budget players to snag one
Besides when I said highlight I mean commander playable reprint wise
That is spicy and I’m a fan. The ability to flash out enchantments and sorceries is pretty huge, especially once you can make her indestructible and start board wiping on other player’s turns.
This will probably be the best of the 4, but that isnt saying much. There isnt much in the way of value here, aside from kelpie most of the reprints are the generic hohum fair weve come to expect.
These have really just become a paint by numbers approach to deck building. It has white so include this it has blue so include that, while still ignoring cards in need of reprints that could easily be on theme and help get them into the hands of more players.
As a means to jump into the format these decks just cant keep up. I dont mean with a tuned deck, i mean with anyone who has half a brain.
So who is this product for? If youre new youll get blown out so hard youll be turned off and if youre old then youre getting minimal value and a bad deck
Prowess is a more interesting mechanic here than flashback. So... oops?
I m feeling kinda cheated
They said they would do better reprints cause of the feedback of commander 2018 but the reprints we are getting are of cards from 1-2 years ago, with luck 6 years ago... on a 30 years card game...
I mean, yes it is nice to see some of the Amonkhet split cards in there (cause they are cast from the graveyard), yes it is nice to have sun titan but why sun titan?... It feels almost criminal not including Catalyst Stone in the flashback deck... I mean, it was excepted cause we didn't get Dream Chisel and Ixidor, Reality Sculptor in the morph one.
It looks like they choose to not reprint some cards that they know are a must in this kind of decks. I know we won't be getting Doubling Season in the populate one, neither Primal Vigor or Parallel Lives... If we are luck we can get Anointed Procession...
I think the madness deck have the potential to be the best, mostly because there is not much quintessencial cards for a fair/begguing deck around the theme. This way they can reprint value and we will be happy because of it, while having new cards to make a non-existing theme possible. It will be nice if it has Big Game Hunter as a good value reprint, it will be nice if it has Call to the Netherworld, Violent Eruption as good cards to keep the deck in theme.
I mean, if you don't want to reprint Catalyst Stone+Dream Chisel+Ixidor, Reality Sculptor then at least give the decks some playability out of the box. Remember that what made commander 2017 a sucess was not only the pushed commanders but the fact that the decks were playable out of the box, and outside of some obscure stack manipulation combo... the decks were almost complete and didn't need much in terms of old and hard to find cards.
For next year try to reprint cards in the theme along side the pricy cards.
(PS: Can you stop reprinting cards that are not even 3 years old, or cards that saw reprinting in that time period? i mean, outside of basic lands players don't like to see the same 0,20 card in every 5 new products released :\)

No, I’m not kidding, because a $4 card with 8 printings is both affordably and readily available to anyone that wants it. We only get so many reprints per deck, and using up one of those slots on something with 8 printings is not needed, when something else could be used instead. Again, I’m not talking playability, I’m calling it a bad reprint.
Bit of a let down in reprints again. Now we've seen 2 of the 4 decks it pretty much guarantees we aren't getting the spicy cards that were implied with "we hear you about C18 but C19 will be better"
That being said Elsha is going straight in my spellslinger deck, getting artifacts and enchantments too is sweet upside.
Commander is bonkers.
Sun Titan is a fine reprint, they are not expensive but almost always sold out in local stores.
Glad to see the decks are branching out in different directions, will give brewers a ton of fun.

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.
I really don't know who should lead my new Jeskai Pillowfort deck. Her or the new Pramikon sky rampart. What are you folks' thoughts.
For multiplayer the wall is better imo.
For 1v1 Eisha or Sevinne are better. Eisha is more versatile but more fragile, she probably could be fun to storm off while Sevinne could be more of a tempo commander.
I m feeling kinda cheated

I'd assume Dream Chisel isn't in the deck because it already has a commander that gives you a free morph per turn. You also have to be careful with cards like it and Catalyst Stone in decks built with very strong commanders for the theme like these. We already have a Future Sight and free morph + they all cantrip. Now, madness does have a machine gun commander, but I don't remember it having crazy amounts of card advantage or anything like flashback. If you're trying to share the commander experience with new players, you certainly don't want the decks to be capable of just rocketing out and blowing up a game out of nowhere. Making your stuff cost less sounds fine until it starts being worth 10 mana in a single turn or something. I had a standard flashback deck back in Innistrad and it got really stupid really quick and took extraordinarily long turns. You want the decks to have powerful commanders that can be strong if that's what you're into, but the default shouldn't be rocket launcher.
Now, as for doubling season effects, I don't expect them because they're just not as good with populate decks. Populate wants impressive tokens where you're spending a lot more mana per token where doubling seasons would want to be in a deck like Ghave where you're spamming 1/1 or 0/1 tokens to hit an Overrun. You can get more mileage out of populate cards and Growing Ranks is a super cheap card. Infact, that burn spell we saw will quite possibly get you more tokens in one turn than a doubling season will total.
Ixidor probably isn't in because he just isn't that good. Master of the Veil feels pretty situational and Weaver of Lies has too much potential to just generate way too much value with the right setup.
Recoup just isn't as good in a deck with a lot of flashback. I'd be more likely to put it in the populate or madness deck. They have lots of nice spells that probably don't have flashback.
Edit: Yeah, looking at the decklist, making all your flashback costs 2 less can get out of hand way too quickly, especially drawing all those cards, having a future sight in the command zone, and you already have that jace cost reduction. The deck has a multiple ways to make your spells cantrip as well as quite a lot of draw. Do you really want a precon to pull something stupid like drawing 4 cards for UU off the top of your library? They did a 2 mana cost reduction a few years ago but it was giant tribal and let you play 1 giant a couple turns early. It was effectively a sol ring not the amount of stupid that would happen here. It isn't always just about monetary value. They specifically don't want the decks to pull anything too stupid either and that's what I suspect would happen if you jammed Cloudstone Curio into the morph deck. I also don't think Thousand Winds or Skinthinner would be so much fun to get hit with the 5th time.
There's even less reason to include Dream Chisel / Altar of the Lost in the "flashback" deck than for the morph-centric cards in the morph deck. The Flashback deck also has Aftermath and Retrace which don't benefit from those cards at all and would lead to confusion when playing it out of the box. The mana rocks seemed to be skewed towards working with Sun Titan / Sun Titan Spell. Recoup works best in a deck where your spells don't already come with built-in recursion.
I'm more disappointed that there wasn't a targeted removal spell that turned creatures face down. On twitter they mentioned that turning morphs back down lead to an exhausting amount of tracking for new players playing against the deck trying to figure out which morphs were ones that had already been revealed and which ones they were.
What a letdown. :/ Only 3 new flashback cards and one of them is just past in flames on a stick. :/ This deck has a bunch of great new cards but it feels very lacking. I hope the Naya one focuses on a sub theme of big stuff grr instead of just some mediocre stuff piled together... Then again if they want to keep it close to the power level of the last two it may be the worst of them all. Idk.
So much worse reprints than the Sultai deck, which wasn't amazing either, total miss. I mean just the lands alone Sultai has 7 rare lands this has 2...
So much for wotc bringing the Commander sets back to C17 and before in terms of value. Will just grab singles of the new cards again like last year for sure.
And how they've missed obvious reprints like Past in Flames for a flashback deck is crazy...

Sevinne's Reclamation is going to be such a staple and I'm disappointed it's going to be out of my budget range.
River Kelpie seems like the most notable reprint given that it's the first reprint it's had and does something mechanically relevant in a few places.
